Batman: Arkham City
 

So, are you guys waiting for Arkham City? I definitely am.

It looks as good - or even better - than Batman: Arkham Asylum and I liked that game a lot.

Also, it's supposed to have around 40 hours of content. If that's true, that is amazing.

I want, nay, need this game. I'm not an avid gamer, but Batman is kind of impossible to mess up in any medium (unless you're Joel Schumacher).

Also, lulz @ the inclusion of Calender Man. Of all the villains they could have chosen to tack onto the end of that laundry list, they chose the gayest one.

That movie must have been a nightmare to translate efficiently.

That electric distorted touch to the voice in the closed suit is quite menacing, nice change from the normally not-so-threatening voice.

Apparently, the game will have 3D support on all platforms. Not that it's an awfully important piece of news, it's just to say something on-topic for once.

Let's wake this thread up since it's only about 10 days till Arkham City releases! I've got it pre-ordered and I'm really hyped up. :p

Also, apparently there's going to be a DLC for it after a week of it's launch. Damn moneygrabbers. But I'll still get it, it's going to be 560MSP and will feature Nightwing. I think it had story missions instead of those challenge maps. At least I hope so.

A few reviews are out already, two of them (Game Informer and PS Magazine) giving them a 10/10 and IGN gave it a 9.5/10. (Spoiler in case you want to watch the review!)

EDIT: Silly me, there are actually already about 15 reviews, most of them giving it a 10/10 and the lowest being 8.5/10. Fuck Destructoid for giving it 8.5.



Seems really promising and I can't wait to get my hands on this game.

Finally got my copy today, I'm around 2-3 hours into the game. Fucking awesome. I'm doing some sidemissions and searching for Riddler's trophies.

I played this for about a half hour last night at a friend's. Fuck, I need a job. With this out now and Skyrim looming over the horizon, I'm gonna have no damn time.

Oh, and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Damn.

I really need to play the first one; I can't believe the Metacritic score Arkham City has!

Yeah, it's almost as high as GTA 4's. And it completely deserves it too, it's probably my favourite game ever.
