Conspiracy Thread

Discuss various conspiracies here.

I had talked about how President Obama gave a speech in Berlin about Americas place in the New World Order in a different thread.... heres the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CV8Xt2VWvc

Havoc 05-18-2011 05:42 AM

That has to be the biggest bullshit video I've ever seen. Did they really just compare Obama with Hitler because he wants to unite the world and advance humanity to the next level? Hell, I want that too. Stop fighting and start working together before the planet explodes. We need to get off this pile of dirt fast.

If you want a conspiracy, go read this website and come back when you're done.

http://www.ae911truth.org/

And before you condemn it as just another one of 'those' websites. There's like 1.500 qualified and certified structural engineers on that site who all say the same thing; the official story about the collapse isn't right. Something is wrong.

Nate 05-18-2011 05:47 AM

Conspiracy theories annoy me. They're just like religions; they're believed in when they match someone's world view, they so vague that they can't be disproven and when anyone tries, the believer rejects any conflicting evidence out of hand.

I'll give examples tomorrow when I'm more awake.

Kinto 05-18-2011 05:53 AM

You apparently know nothing about the NWO, do your research on it before you call it bullshit. Also about 911, yes 911 was an inside job, WTC 7 was a controlled demolition... I signed the petition.

You are full of so much shit.

Havoc 05-18-2011 06:01 AM

I'm not going to call it an inside job, but WTC 7 at least was a controlled demolition (so were WTC 1 and 2 if you ask me) and the official story makes no mention of this anywhere. That's enough reason to be suspecious in my book.

When did you become David Icke?

Dixanadu 05-18-2011 07:31 AM

I find him entertaining. He's absolutely hilarious.

I have the exact same opinion.

STM 05-18-2011 08:00 AM

Two words, David Icke.

I got an angry message from someone on these forums once for taking the piss. Apparently he generally has some followers...

OddjobAbe 05-18-2011 08:04 AM

As long as paranoia and insecurity exists, so will David Icke supporters.

Rex Tirano 05-18-2011 08:08 AM

My personal favourite conspiracy theory is that Paul McCartney died in 1967 and was replaced by William Campbell to stop any mass hysteria. Apparantly you can tell this from listening to songs backwards, the Abbey Road album's cover (which is a funeral procession) and through general art and lyric imagery.

Dixanadu 05-18-2011 08:24 AM

David Icke is one pretty anti-semitic guy.

STM 05-18-2011 09:59 AM

He's anti-fucking everything.

And how dare he say he's Jesus. -rep him.

Manco 05-18-2011 11:04 AM

Time Cube is simultaneously the best and worst conspiracy theory (if you can call it that).

Dixanadu 05-18-2011 01:10 PM

Saying he was the son of God made me emit a thunderous laugh.

I entirely agree. My dad's into this sort of stuff and it frustrates me rather when he's telling me who runs the world, that drug companies are trying to kill people and that the holocaust never happened.

However, I do think some of what he says is entirely possible. I haven't seen any evidence for it, but I haven't seen evidence of the holocaust and I don't see why I would know shit about who runs the world.

Since I don't really know enough facts, I believe what feels the most probable to me - what they want us to believe.

As someone who's visited Bergen-Belsen and Sachsenhausen, met people who visited Auschwitz, read the autobiography of a woman who grew up in camps, seen the old films made by the Nazis, the photographs of the victims, the mass graves and the remnants of the people who were killed there, your dad is full of shit.

Yep, pretty much. But he's not actually that bad; though he does tell me about it, he also says that it's just what he believes and that I should believe what I want to.

Kinto 05-18-2011 03:17 PM

I hate David Icke, that shapeshifting reptillian crap is complete bullshit....

But your youtube video with stormtrooper music, ridiculous parallels, stupid out of context statements and I swear to God a subliminal message hidden in it isn't?

Hypocrite.

Dixanadu 05-19-2011 03:40 AM

Kinto is a CIA agent who is suppressing the truth.

Wings of Fire 05-19-2011 06:01 AM

There's a very noticable bit in his video where there's a frame missing and it's disorientating.

Strike Witch 05-19-2011 06:02 AM

I like the Philadelphia Experiment one.

S'cool.

Dipstikk 05-19-2011 01:33 PM

I think they're fun. I don't necessarily believe or disbelieve them, but watching other people go on about them is entertaining.

I like the one about alien gods because they are aliens and aliens are cool

Dixanadu 05-19-2011 01:52 PM

Is that Xenu and the cult 'Scientology'?

Or Cthuthlu (or however it's spelled).

Dammit! How did you know?!

Dixanadu 05-19-2011 04:58 PM

Because I'm a Nordic anal probist from the planet Kunt.

We talked last month.

Daxter King 05-19-2011 07:25 PM

Some guy on another forum said someone went to him and said that he was being kicked out of the country since he helped find Osama. He showed him and email and stuff, saying you can't trust Osama. The guy that posted siad he sent his friends messages explaining what happened if he suddenly disappears. Made me laugh, either way it was an interesting read.

Like Dipstick said, I find most of these things entertaining.

Not always. Some people believe in conspiracy theories for the sake of believing in conspiracy theories, others believe because they seem rational and probable.

Goresplatter 05-19-2011 11:30 PM

I heard that if innocent Canadian blood touches American soil, Saddam Hussein and Satan will be freed from Hell to rule the Earth for a thousand years of darkness.

Perhaps to them they sound rational and probably, but that's only because it confirms what they already believe.

I can't take such things seriously due to the question: How would they know this in the first place?

Erm...

Which things can't you take seriously? And which things do they know in the first place?

T-nex 05-20-2011 06:13 PM

If you want conspiracies that matter and may very well affect you today, then look into things like Monsanto. The things I hear about that company are truly frightening.

Sekto Springs 05-20-2011 06:15 PM

The things about Monsanto aren't even false though. That company is evil incarnate.

enchilado 05-20-2011 11:47 PM

Oh yeah. For sure I believe the stuff dad says about Monsanto.

Erm...

Which things can't you take seriously? And which things do they know in the first place?

All to both.

I mean, first of all, someone may claim this or that is a conspiracy. I wonder how they discover something along those lines in the first place.

How does David Icke know the world is supposedly run by the Illuminati? Did one of them introduce himself? I can't seem to find the answers to the origins of such claims.
