Osama has managed to hold out or almost ten years but now he is apparently dead and his body has been captured. Not really much more to say yet but apparently Obama's going to disclose some more information soon.

He will be missed. :'(

So Osama Bin Laden has been murdered. I think my choice of wording there reflects my opinion slightly. I believe all killing is wrong, but then I believe he deserved to die. It's a bit of a taboo with me really.

I don't care about that anymore, America should learn to keep its nose out of other people's business and avoid making enemies like Bin Laden. Sure the bastard deserved it, but do the people outside of the White House think spilling this asshole's blood is going to solve anything? Besides the US has far bigger problems, what with half the fucking country unemployed and all.

In what way did he take credit? All he said was that he made the call to attack the compound that they found. I did not hear anything of him saying that he was the one who discovered it.

Well a few trillion was worth it. I mean the USA obviously had nothing better to do with that sort of money than send a thousand-or-so soldiers to their deaths just to uphold their reputation as the worlds most interfering country.

I just think the whole idea of declaring war on terrorism is pointless, you're never going to stamp it out by force, killing Bin Laden will not end this. Now his followers will be hell bent on revenge and more US troops will die. We shouldn't continue to throw people into the meat grinder we should just concentrate on expanding homeland security and leave the middle east to its own devices, they hate us!

In an ideal world we would fight terrorism by stamping out poverty, but whatever that's just wishful thinking, I'm only giving my opinion I don't claim to have all the answers.

But the operation wasn't pointless especially since there was no casualties. killing there leader was a pretty big accomplishment in my opinion. Yes i'm aware that his successor is still out there.
