What are you playing right now, eh?


I've been playing Audiosurf a lot lately, trying to get the Potato. Played the shit out of the 'The Device Has Been Modified' song and was pulling my hair out over why I hadn't been rewarded it. Turns out I already had but didn't know because I have the Steam overlay turned off.

I just beat the Elite Four and finished Pokemon White.

I've been playing RDR's public free roam, it's fun as hell with a friend.

Also, I've been plaing Pokémon too. Pokémon Emerald that is. I'm almost done with the Elite 4, I saved after Elite Drake and I'm going to keep playing today.

Also, guess what? I caught Rayquaza in a fucking pokeball! Hah!

Portal 2. I'm loving it so far.

The gameplay feels much more polished than before. The addition of markers to show where your portals are is probably the largest addition. I couldn't help but notice a few occasions when the cube I'd dropped down a pit into a portal moved a bit as it left the pick-upy bit of the ASHPD to ensure that it was in line. There are also a few occasions where a portal shot onto a specific space will always face the same direction.

The dialogue is great. The insults that GLADoS throws at you are awfully amusing.

The only thing I'm unimpressed with so far are the between test-chamber areas. It's often hard to see where you're supposed to shoot your next portal. Spending 5 minutes looking around a large room is not what I call fun.

The new Mortal Kombat is fucking fun! Got it today and there's so much to do, I'm probably gonna defeat the Arcade ladder now and then spend some Koins in The Krypt.

I like the robot guy. Not the guy with the robot arms, the guy who's full robot.

Still playing the Gears 3 beta, the servers were down for most of yesterday and it was pretty bad. Not Gears 1/2 level, but still pretty bad compared to something like Halo or CoD. The more I play the more I hate the double barreled shot gun, its the only thing I truly dislike about it.

In addition to MK, I'm playing Portal 2 and Arkham Asylum. Brilliant.

Baraka, because I'm reasonably good with him in the early MK games.

I'm working through Quake 2 again now that I've downloaded something to make it run in my Mac.

Mortal Kombat as well. Noob was one of my favorites, but he's been made cheaper than usual in the latest installment. Sektor is fun, so is Smoke.

Wasn't there a purple one? I liked that one.

Robo-smoke. I always liked human smoke more than his robotic form.

Too bad they didn't make all of the Klassic costumes available from the Krypt.

There's even a few secret fights in the Arcade Ladder if you do a few things right and one of them is the klassic Reptile, (Which uses Sub-Zero's ice ball and throw -move. WTF?) but you still don't get the klassic costume for Reptile. BULLSHIT.

Anyways, I haven't been able to play Mortal Kombat for 3 days. I think I'm losing my mind. I just want to play it!

In MK1 Reptile alternated between the movesets of Scorpion and Sub-zero.

I've never completed F2, only ever got to fighting Frank Horrigan, in my opinion the story is as good if not better than F3 + FNV, and you know I prefer gameplay too, even if it does mean waiting five minutes for everyone to finish their turn.

Been on Counter-Strike: Source this morning, I was on cs_office and its a awesome map.

Playing Portal 2 in short bursts in between bouts of motion-sickness induced nausea.

It's pretty good. I like the puzzle-solving aspect, as usual. It's just that I keep expecting something AMAZING to happen and it just hasn't, yet.

They are a couple of AMAZING bit in the game. I won't give out any spoilers of course but you will be amazed soon.

I think the amazing part is more the storytelling after the *thing* happens. That, and the final confrontation. That part was awesome.

I could've guessed the ending based on what Cave Johnson says about the gel. Could've, but didn't.

Anyway, I'm playing Sonic Adventure and Beyond Good and Evil HD off of XBL Arcade. Both of them are just as I remember them, though Sonic is just that much more retarded. I miss retarded games.

I've been playing the Steam version of Sonic Adventure recently. It's one of the few Sonic games I haven't played, and considering how highly the Sonic fandom regards it I was expecting something a little less balls-out retarded.

I mean Jesus Christ, the cutscenes are cringeworthy, the controls are really twitchy, and the camera is godawful.

And it doesn't help that the graphics are seriously outdated.

You people don't know what fun is.

Just wait til you get to the Perfect Chaos fight, that's the greatest example of Sega dropping the ball there is.

Sonic Adventure is fucking awesome, you bite your tongue. Sure, it has its flaws, but it's just so much fun.

Big is an elaborate glitch in the game code they've yet to fix, there's no way Sonic Team would do something like that on purpose.

Most of Sonic 3D game love is pure nostalgia from my generation. I know this because I played SA2 a few months back after how remembering how awesome it was.

The Sonic Adventure games look soooo much better on the Dreamcast and they are fun games with cool music and definitely the best 3D Sonic games ever.

I just beat Portal 2.

Hands down one of the best games I have ever played. I loved every single bit of singleplayer. Now I just have to play through the final co-op courses with my friend.

I'm playing Mortal Kombat and it kicks ass! To bad the psn is down :/ EDIT: oh yeah, I hate to say it, but I like many others am a scorpion freak... but so far in the new MK my favorite character is smoke.

Played MK at a friends house, really fun stuff. The amount of content packed into it compared to other fighters(MvC3) is staggering. Seems to be a bit more balanced to boot. I found myself using Johnny Cage a lot, with some Nightwolf and Stryker on the side. My friend got the last copy at Toys R Us, so Ill have to drive a bit more to get it on sale tomorrow. Either was it was loads of fun. Only complaint was it was hard to get a match in online, maybe because we were playing tag team though.

Why does Toys R Us sell Mortal Kombat?

And yeah, online isn't too good.
