Scrabs vs Paramites, which is cooler?
 

The title pretty much says it. I prefer Scrabs:fuzmad:

Scrabs are cooler cause unlike Paramites, they don't run away when you chase them.

I say Paramites cause I like their design and I always enjoy the paramite levels more.

It depends. One on one, a scrab would easily win due to sheer speed and strength. But if a pack of say, three or four paramites approached, I think they would win. Paramites are slightly more intelligent than scrabs and will work in packs to catch their prey, almost like hyenas.

Scrabs on the other hand aren't very smart - they are mostly instinctive killers. They can't seem to be able to work together in groups either. In AO we always see scrabs slaughtering each other to prove their dominance. On second thought, I think that a strong scrab could still win, even against multiple paramites. So I'll go with the scrab. :)

They said that they're fighting each other in AO because they're Alpha Scrabs or something like that. In MO they're in a pack I think.

Scrabs (even though they look cool) are very anoying and when dealing with them it feels like your dealing with a slog. I prefer paramites because they live in a dark mysterious environment and they look cooler. They also have (although very limited) language to commicate with each other. Nobody can deny in AE that it was fun to posses a Paramite and work together with another one. They're also more fun to play around with becuase you have to think carefully. With a Scrab its just RUN! but with a Paramite you have to be careful that you dont end up following it into a trap where another Paramite is waiting.

It seems like it has been ages since the last Scrab Vs Paramites thread.

It has been. I think we keep telling people not to make them.

I find myself in the frustrating position of genuinely liking them both equally. Scrabs have a more shapely and realistic design, and seem to fit well into their habitat, but Paramites are good-weird and adorably grotesque, and unlike Scrabs they aren't DEFEATED BY LOW CEILINGS.

well for me they are both good,scrabs will chase ya to doom,and wait for you to sneak peek your head from that ledge so they can chomp it off,and paramites will wait for you to roll into a hole so that they can snatch ya

they're both ugly and would just jump off a cliff and die

They are both cool but the paramite levels are always a lot more fun in my opinion (Oh how i hate that secret area with the scrab in the stockyards)

This is why I can relate to them and like Scrabs more than Paramites.

Scrabs would generally always win in a one-on-one fight, unless the Paramites had constructed a giant web. Paramites have the element of surprise though, since at one minute they can be your friend, but if their buddy appears, suddenly they try to kill you and eat you while you're not looking.

I love paramites, because they are social killers while scraps are anti-social killers.

Scrabs because my first avatar on this forum was a Scrab.

I choose secret option D, Steefs.
Out of those two though, I prefer paramites. They seem more friendly and i like the finger-lips.
Also, I heard somewhere that they are like spiders? Which is always cool to me.

So it didn't occur to you that Paramites are like spiders before someone told you?

Yes, Scrabs are connect to crabs. Meeches and Fleeches are connected to leeches, Gabbits are connected to rabbits, Sligs, Slogs and Slurgs are connected to slugs, Wolvarks are connected to skylarks, Glukkons and Mudokons are connected to the fucking kraken and the goddamn fucking Shrykull is connected to the Archangel Michael.

@Dynamathrix I only played Strager's Wrath until like 2009. And I still haven't gotten to the paramites in Munch's odysee.
So, no.
I always thought slegs were more like pigs. I have no idea why.
And i had no idea that meeches were conected to leeches. I always thought that they were their own design and stuff. But I did see that thier jaws were sorta like barracuda's jaws.
