Are the gameboy Oddworld games even worth getting? I've never considered it, assuming they're like off brand watered-down pepsi games.

Oddworld Adventures 1 and 2 are worthless pieces of shit (especially 1), I don't know much about Munch.

That still doesn't mean that Oddworld Adventures are good. That only means that MO on GBA is Super-shit.

I meant MO for the xbox...In fact I think OA2 recieved some better feedback in it's day than MO

Munch adventure is pretty much the same.
Firt of all the adventure series miss the eerie atmosphere in the PS-Xboxand, second, they are incredibly short.

OA2 was simply the best, MO on the other hand was put toghether in a little time and than throw on the market for the stupid Xbox launch.

I played OA1 once, and I completed it in about 12 minutes :(

You have to keep in count OA1 was for the first nintendo.

No they didn't, probably because they weren't the developers of that game.

Is there an actual storyline for the Oddworld Adventures games?

I believe it follows along with AO and AE. Almost exactly.

Does it have the same locations as in AO and AE?

Pretty much. yeah. I think its just condensed.

It would have to be extremely condensed if you can complete it in 12 minutes!

It probably took me over 12 hours of playing time to complete AO the first time round. Maybe more. :)

EDIT: Yes, it does look very simalar indeed. But are there levels like RutureFarms on there?

If you see that OA 1 is the game that you can beat in 10 minutes, and AO is the game for 4 hours they can't be similar.
There's only Paramonia on OA1

In paranonia no, but in paramonian temple you can save 3 mudokons (in a secret level).

About that why is the scrabanian temple bigger than paramonian's temple?

In paramonia temple you have only one hidden level and 6 door to clean before the grand final, in scrabanian temple you have 8 and 3 hidden levels.

No rupture farms only paramonian temple levels i believe then again i haven't played the game in like forever xD

OA follows closer to the original game conception where Abe was going to be a native creature who rode around on his pet elum but then...R.Farms was Mudos Cathedral.

There doesn't really seem to be a story in OA1, just Abe running around in Paramonia and lighting the flintlocks. Or am I missing something?
