Asian horror movie stopped scaring me long time ago. The Ring scared me pretty bad when I watched it the first time. I couldn't sleep for a week.

I've seen both the original Ju-On and The Grudge and their respective sequels. I didn't think any of them were scary.
That movie is pretty fucking bizarre.

The only horror movie that really scared me when I was younger was The Cell, and one can argue that it's not even horror. It's just surreal.
To this day I put the original Hellraiser at the top of the totem for creatively disturbing imagery. Not necessarily scary, but definitely unique. In the world of horror these days, uniqueness is really the only thing you can go for since nothing is actually frightening anymore.

When I was little I was pretty much scared of anything that was both animated and creepy. I even got scared during that Simpsons episode where Bart gets his heart pulled out.

The current Red Lobster commercial...now that's some creepy shit, both literally and figuratively.

The Thing freaked me out too. Especially the scene with the dog. My old dog slept in my room with me at the time and I was awake all that night waiting for it to turn into some monstrous alien and assimilate me.

I watched The Fly (Geoff Goldblum version) last night. The maggot birth scene still freaks me out as much as it always did.

I was browsing and THAT was the scene I saw first, wished I watched it from the start.

I really liked Silent Hill (the movie), it was all just a never ending pure nightmare.
The latest War of the Worlds movie is a double-edged bastard, if you know what I mean. The first half was incredibly thrilling (especially the tripod honk sound) and then the second half is a hilariously lame disaster.

The whole movie itself wasn't scary, but 1988 version of The Blob had one scene that really freaked me out. When two kids, along with one's older sister, were trying to escape from in in the sewer. One of the kids fell into the water, the girl makes sure her brother escapes, then jumps in to find the other kid. Then the kid bursts out of the water, inside the blob, and you can see he's already being dissolved.
