this is such fantastic news, we go from nothing to a new website incoming that everyone assumes is likely to be about the antisocial network, to getting not just an oddworld related game but several seperate projects. i only hope that lorne is heavily involved in thier direction.

All of your favorite characters? Can we assume the three main protagonists we know are all getting a new game or at least show up in one of the games? Either way this makes me happy, great news.

Great news, but I'll have to wait till I start seeing some stuff. We've been built up so many times just to be knocked down. I hope soo much that this will pan out soon!

It makes my day knowing that after all these years since I was maybe 7, Oddworld still has a faithful fanbase. To be honest, when I first tried checking for stuff about Oddworld a few years ago, I didn't expect to find to as many people as I see now :)

I won't celebrate until i read more informations or see some screenshots. I must be sure that game will be awesome. Then i will celebrate :)

The "interesting" part of the podcast is from 23th minute to the 26th minute and there's absolutely nothing new in there.

Several new things; a hint that the projects are not just games, confirmation that the first project has to do with Abe and that it's not on PS3 or anything to do with Nintendo. (they come back to Oddworld briefly after the 30 minute mark)

Agreed. I recommend that people looking to hear about Oddworld to not listen. All they do is restate obvious things like:
"Abe has a twitter :tard: ....kthxbai."

The only new information which I found somewhat amusing is that the dude talking about Oddworld went for the interview on a PlayStation podcast just to say the Oddworld game will NOT be released on PS3, Wii, or iPhone.

Here's a side note I noticed from Abe's twitter, it mentioned Aslik attending a party afew weeks ago. Does that mean he's not dead in terms of Oddworld canon?

Disagree. As Nate and OddBlog point out, there are tidbits of information. Other than that, I just enjoyed the banter.

Except he was primarily there to talk about the PSP port of a PSN game.

Firstly, great to hear Oddworld is back :D I've not heard the podcast yet, but does this mean that of the titles in development, some will be exclusive to certain consoles?

As a PS2 owner I was so disappointed when Oddworld went to Xbox, I think if that happened again after all this time waiting I'd hurl myself into the nearest meat grinder! :p

It says "With all your favorite Oddworld characters" so i would imagine so.

This is terrific news, rest assured if this turns out to be a joke i will destroy you all.

I'll take everything bad that I ever said about them back if they actually release a game.

I'm actually feeling really optimistic about this. This is a business that they know intimately from an ip creation standpoint. I think that this time we may actually get what we are promised.
