I support what they are trying to do but I don't always agree with the way they work. Half of the arrests made because of them are done by entrapment + a questionable law.

I think it's a lil bit harsh to say hunt down every pedo and kill them and so on, because I think being a pedophile is no one's choice. They were born so (that people, who got raped when they were a child, and therefore are going to be a pedo, is a myth or simply not true) I got raped when I was 7 and I wouldn't ever like to fuck a kid, but my opinion changed through the time.
You see I think you can't blame anyone simply because he has these feelings, but if he lives it out, That's a complete different case. there has to be consequences! But I am not so sure that they are all the same. It's like blaming someone who is gay. I read that all kinda rapes mostly are not primarily committed because of sex or attraction, but because of the feeling of power.

Well to me there is a difference between child molesters/rapists and the simple perverts who get off on young teens. The difference being that the former will force the act and the latter will want consensual sex. To the law there may not be a difference but morally I think there is a huge difference because at the end of the day the perverts aren't out to hurt the kids and rapists are.

Also, Perverted Justice uses 18+ year olds for their traps which basically means that any physical attraction to the bait isn't actually illegal because any guy in their 20-30's would find that girl equally attractive. Further more the bait always encourages the behavior. The pervert may initiate the conversation in sex, but there have been cases where the bait invited him over to her house. The bait always asks to bring condoms and confirms that she's willing to have sex voluntarily.

Then the guy makes the stupid decision to accept her invitation and they meet up. There has not been any sex or even touching. But apparently it is illegal to even think about having sex with a minor, which strikes me as a bit weird.

In the end these people are arrested because they were seduced by an 18 year old girl and invited to come over to their house to have sex, while they thought she was underage.

Don't get me wrong, there have been a few big fish they caught this way. People on FBI most wanted lists or dangerous killers who had not yet been caught. But there have also been a lot of average Joe Smoe's who simply lost common sense in their sexual excitement and made a stupid ass decision ("she's a bit young but she seems to really want it so where's the harm?"). It just seems a bit harsh to me to give people like that a 4 year prison sentence.

And yeah I know the entire story about not being adult yet, making bad decisions and all that crap we've been over.

No one said anything about killing so what the fuck are you going on about? We are discussing the type of person that actively seeks out and preys on children. I judge no one based on a predisposition. However, I will fucking destroy you if you try to touch my child.

What's to stop them from freaking out after and killing, beating, or kidnapping them? What perverted justice does is a wonderful thing.
