Codes for AE PSN download (PAL)
 

Thanks again to the kind folks behind Oddworld for providing some more codes to download Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus from the PlayStation Store. If you own a PS3 or PSP in a PAL region, these are for you on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Remember there's no way of securing a code just by saying you've grabbed it: Anyone on the Internet could find this page and use these codes, and they might not care about your shotgunning them. It's literally a race to use them.

Because Max and Xav keep the rest for themselves.

Someone’s crossed out all four codes using deprecated markup, which I’m guessing means all four have been used and/or don’t work. Congratulations to the successful code-grabbers.

Poor form for whomever used the fourth code before I did without announcing it. Extremely poor form.

It's for that very reason I included the second paragraph of my OP. Not to stop anyone from trying, but to temper expectations of reservation. Like I said, the codes can be used by anyone, and if it was used by someone without an account on OWF, they can't have posted at the time.

Of course. I was merely saying that it's rude for someone to use it and not inform the rest of the members about it. Just like whomever chose to use the second code.

Like I said the a last time, why should WE use those free codes. We are the diehard fans. We should WANT to PAY for the games. This way Oddworld gets more money for future projects to make!

Giving those codes away should only be to non fans, to get a free game, they will try it out and might going to like it and want more in the future.

But nice for the ones who grabbed one anyway.

Which means that codes 1, 2 and 4 were used by people who didn't report it here. Nice.

I've seen it on the wider internet, but in the time I've been in OWF I've never seen it here.

That behaviour is also added to my List Of Rudeness.

Perhaps if a code thingy aver happens again distribute the codes via pm to the people who first reply to the topic??

Its easier to give out the codes on a thread. and i agree with the codes but what Oddworld Games could they give out now. SW and MO aren't on PSN

I wish I had a PS3. OWI/OddMobb are very nice giving these codes away for their fans. That's one of the things I like about them. :)

Oh, so those code were a giveaway, I came into to this thread and thought you guys were handing out CD-keys to pirate games or something. Considering Lorne may return to this site one day (not likely, especially not this year) we would be so screwed!

Well sense i live in America i already purchased AE In October, but for some strange reason i didn't purchase Oddysee because i still have the cd with case from 1999! and it still works like a charm :D
