I can make banners for people too!
I'd aim for ones around the size of the banner in my signature as I believe big banners are ugly, cumbersome and distracting.Just ask. |

ok, you may notice I have changed my signature yet again. This time my banner is smaller and has more of a theme to it. What do you guys think? Any improvements that could be made?

I had a fiddle with Photoshop and came up with this, Pinkhaired. If you like it, put it in your signature. Personally, I prefer the top one because it has transparent parts. I used a portion of your current signature for the white text, but I can change it to something else if you want.

Wow these new banner/sigs are great guys. Pinkhaired, use the first one, it's fantastic! I love the transparency on Pinkhaired & Rettick's banners, wish I'd thought of it!

Ok, this looks terrific! a little more color in the forums. But it will slow things down if they are too big , right? So I'll remake, resize, or let somebody fix my sig too. I would like something that points out that I managed to reach the killing bonus (using the pics I posted). And the "don't get mudy" should stay too. Anybody who has any suggestions or offers?

Heh... it seems like I'm a popular banner maker... I'll see what I can do for the next requests I have! :)
That's the main reason we have a size limit on banners (both appearance and file size). However one thing we can consider if people find banners to be slowing the load time is to impliment a policy where you can only post your signature once per topic (we would turn the signature checkbox off by default for this). But people have had pictures over at ezboard... it's just now, they are getting to be more structured than they were in the past (an actual banner rather than just a pic). Or at least try and avoid the double posts! ;) Anyways... here's the first two...
