Free Oddworld Games
 

The PR folks at OddMobb have been kind enough to hand me a few codes that will allow a few fans to download the games for free. I spent a long time trying to set up a contest on TOL, but I eventually realized that's a lot of effort I don't have, so I'm going to hand out the codes on the Oddworld Forums.

What I'm gonna do is whack 'em up one at a time so they're being distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once someone's told me they've used the code, I'll whack up the next one.

The PSN codes, of course, will only work for the US store, because the Oddworld games aren't available on PSN in any other region.

So check back soon for the first code.

Nevermind, it seems it is US only. AND PlayStation exclusive.

Did OddMobb take a leaf out of EAxis' book and do what they did with the Spore Parts and Dr Pepper? It seems that way...

I've just been told the Abe games are coming to PSN Europe in a few weeks, and we'll have more codes for the European fans then.

We've been waiting about five years for the site to be updated. It will probally be ready when hell freezes over.

Finally my sister and her boyfriend can also experience these great games :)

I'll probably miss the free code anyway, but it's awesome news that they're coming to Europe PSN, looks like I have found something to buy with that tenner left on my PSN, hopefully it works on PSP.

Today I was walking along and I tripped over this:

The plastic bag it was in said it was something called Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus. *shrug*

The code did not work. I'm guessing someone already typed it in, or that is not the correct code.

It's the code as I was given it. If it doesn't work, somebody's beaten you to it. That's really how this whole thing's going to work.

I just got a vision, three weirdos appeared to me, somehow I knew their real name. They were L8DH, PBBR and 8ADC... they told me they were bringing me an Oddysee. I'm not sure I understand.

I figured much, i just hate that we might not find out for sure if someone used the code or not, especially if they don't report back to tell us. oh well, ill wait till the next Exoddus code.

So there's not a single member of the Oddworld Forums that wants Abe's Oddysee for free? That's a bit weird.

its the USA only thing, im sure theres many users in other areas that want it for free, like me :D

Wikipedia says that I assume Canada is part of the North American version, and if AO and AE are available via PSN in Canada then I'm certain these codes will work. And if they don't, no harm in trying.

I mean North American members, then. =P

I'm one of the few US members here, all i need is AE and im good.
