I just noticed that Ghost's link was to the Daily Mail, I am disappoint.

So many of these images do look incredibly faked, it has to be said. The one in the OP especially.

I'm disappointed how most of the responses here infer 'it's fake' with little to no real investigation. If it's fake, prove it. If it happened, back it up. Don't wait for someone else to do it for you.

Guys, seriously. A simple search on any engine reveals that this is not localized news. For some reason, the picture Strike Witch posted looks 'enhanced' or something, but there seem to be videos captured of this event with much less 'vibrance.' Evidently something happened. That should be enough to spark some kind of interest.

This looks totally fake. And people who made this should really enhance their photoshop skills. As for videos - cosidering the fact that there is easy-to-use post-effects software nowadays even a noob could do such thing.

You're right that it's not localised news, but most news services are only quoting the other news services and they're all showing the same footage.

I have a doubt whether this picture is real due to the fact that the light from the object doesn't seem to be on any of the surrounding landscape. But maybe it's just not bright enough.

Assuming it is real I would agree with the internet nerds. If there is a leak in the side of the rocket the force of the fuel leaving the rocket would cause it to spin therefore the blue spiral. The white part is probably the rocket exploding (but why it looks like that I don't know).

Although all this information is just from the picture. I haven't watched or read any other stuff concerning this.
