I thought I'd make a little poll and see what everyone thinks.

Noobs I can torment.

The wacky zaniness and zany wackiness of the members.

The fact that some of the members have been a huge influence and help in my personal growth, also that I've made good friends here who I can count on to be there for me and listen to my problems if I'm down because they know I'd do the same for them.

Or what? Are we just spamming this shit up?

Now that I've voted, you can bet your sweet ass I am.

At the moment - recent Oddworld updates. Not many, but I love when we get that stuff. I don't like the community at this particular moment. There still are a few people I'd say I like reading the posts of though.

I do enjoy reading what some of you guys have to say.

I'm here because I like the people. Even the people here I hate, I really love. :)

I like the fact that at least half of us are insane. Insane people are much easier to relate to. I've made a few friends here. I count them as good ones.

I came here for the odd, I stayed for the people and the fan corner.

This reminded me of something someone told me.

According to him, 1 in three people are mentally ill to a degree, since he's a Psychiatric nurse, i am inclined to beleve him. No matter how much i don't want to.

Two in three people will be mentally ill in their lifetime, it is statistically normal to be mentally ill.

but i'm sure OCD's are classed as mental disorders, and a lot of people have them.

I wonder what proportion of those people will at some point develop a fandom of oddworld.

Depression is by far the most common, also one in a hundred people have/will develop Schizophrenia. That means you've probably met at least two people in your life who do.

Yes, but the chances of mental disorders being passed through genetics are ridiculously small, unless you're identical twins.

I happen to be a high-functioning autistic, but I definitely am not insane.

Nothing. This is a place where not many matters of my interest are raised very often, almost every new person is an illiterate, and is littered with comments of mine that after a few days I deem ridiculous and stupid, yet I am still constantly drawn to it.
