Alright. What is YOUR favourite screen in Abe's Exoddus?

I remember finding this secret how I thought I was going to die when dropping down from there. And when I found this place, the song playing in Bonewerkz was then stuck in my head. Now I listen to the song daily, for it reminds me of simpler times before education etc.

Simplicity is beautiful and so I chose this pic.

I love that screen. :D I'm thinking of playing the Oddworld games again soon, and this is making me want to even more. I quite like a lot of the backgrounds in Necrum and the Monsaic Lines, especially with the huge Scrab/Paramite statues.

I thought I was the only one :fuzgrin:! That screen is so awesome!

I also love the big Scrab and Paramite statues in the back. I should propably take screenshots or something so I could get them as my wallpaper :D You can't find them in high res from anywhere ://

Probably the one in Feeco Depot where you see nothing but crates going all the way to the horizon. I'd like to think some of them housed live animals that have long been forgotten, buried under more important stock.

It also always reminded me of that iconic scene from Indiana Jones. You know, "Top. Men".

I've always wondered how long the crates have been there and what's inside of them. Oh how many times I have imagined walking between the giant crates.. I really, REALLY, wish they'd build some kind of Oddworld theme park.. a GIGANTIC park with real life measures.. Like the desert would be the size of a city etc etc.. ok this is off topic..

Ironically, the chance of that being environmentally friendly...

I either like the one in Slig Barracks' Executive Office (with the circular window).
I also like the Slig Barracks room with the sleeping Sligs :D

Oh man that's one of my favourites too! All the big pictures are sweet. The Slig Barracks is a good place for finding nice scene pics ;)

Yes, I like the Annex 7 in Bonewerks too. The screen above the one PalezQkkeli posted also looks very cool. Nothing but Abe, sand piles, and other mudokons working in the distance. Now, the executive offices are also very cool-looking because they vary from the usual pipe/barrel/crate/tent factory background. Very nice to think of a regular slave who broke into places full of luxury (Feeco office) and security, where the big, important guys sit there and order sligs and mudokons around work. Then there are the native environments. The Mudanchee and Mudomo vaults make me think of how all those native tribes lived long ago, and it's all very mystical. I also liked the transition from Necrum to Feeco Depot. One moment you are in an ancient city overgrown with trees and full of wild animals, the next, you are in a factory with advanced technology (greeters) and even TV.

I always loved the scenery in the game. And the concept art.. Man.. That makes my heart pound like a jackhammer! I mean it's so beautiful :D

Or,,, you could use the invincible cheat, die so you become invisible and then take a picture :d might be less of a hassle? :) I really like the Necrum environments as they just are so mysterious and beautiful.

My fav of all time has to be something from paramonia, the beauty of those magnificent petriied forests full of bountiful pine trees, whenever I look out of my bedroom window into the distence I can see a far off forest with a little church (I think) right off, it reminds me of OW, all nostalgic, ahh simpler days! =D

Theres like a mountain 1km (0,32 mi) from where I live. Once when I was little I went to the other side of it and I saw an Industrial place way away in the horizon. I don't even know if it was real 'cuz it was so awesome and reminded me of RuptureFarms..

I would choose paramonia as a candidate as well, but unfortunately this thread is about AE not AO.

I'd say it was when going to Mudanchee vault, but I'm not entirely sure. I'll check tomorrow cuz I'm so sleepy right now..

The screen where you posses Dripik, I love the statue of him in the background! I'm starting to like AE more than AO.

Well somethings red but I don't think it's the eyes.. His eyes would be a little bit higher so is it his mouth or something :fuzgrin: Bloodthirst maybe?

No, it's his eyes, in my first ten years book it's the same there all like that, it'sbecause of compute glitches.

Anyway to stay on topic I once walked off by myself to this really beautiful place, it was a small village, so beautiful, it reminded me of an OWesque place =)

I'd like to go somewhere ie. in China and see Paramonian/Mudomo types of places. Then I'd like to go to somewhere with mountains and desert to see Scrabania/Mudanchee types of places :)

I want to know what the name of the island next to Mudos is called. Well, I say island, it's bigger than the UK.

There's a special, hidden gamescreen featuring a large poster of Abe posing nude rubbing himself down with chocolate icing. I'd have to say that's my favorite.

It's hard to narrow it down to one. I really like the ones in Paramonia that show the temple far off in the distance to the right. Many of Scrabania and within the temple; I love desers and I love the lighting within the temple. I like the one in Necrum Mines where it shows this huge bridge-like structure composed mainy of giant metal rings. Many in Necrum itself, especially that depict those Tower of Pisa-esque dwellings. The executive offices, my favorite being Phleg's. I also feel really attracted to the places where the Mudokon shamans are, especially in the brewery.

I especially liked the lighting of the trials of the Scrabanian Temple. All the oranges and purples.

While AO has the best set of original screens, I do love the AE ones. Especially the mine tileset. My favorite screen in AO is probably the boardroom.

As for editing out Abe, take two seperate pictures. One of Abe on the left, and one of Abe on the right. Mash them together and, HEY PRESTO! No Abe!

any 1 no that screen in paramonia where theres the windmill, y'no while your being chased by bees on elum, thats y I wanted munch's oddysee when I realised it was out (ie 2006 i didnt get oddworld games till 2005 when i purchased an antique PS1 and abes oddysee game)

My fav screens are as follows - (note i edited them all together for you all AND wrote up a little paragraph, aren't I nice!)

Mine is a part in the Monsaic Lines.
