I would say that while there is a lot of truth to that statement, there is also a lot of false. The video is known to be at least a year old. This is true. But to say that it is no indication of what the game is going to be like is ludicrous. You don't do that much work on a game and then say, "All right, guys. Good job. Now make it a racing game". There are bound to be a lot of changes, but the core gameplay is likely to stay the same. To put this in context, let's have a look at the early leaked Shadow of the Colossus video.



A lot of changes were made for the final product, but you get the picture. You get the idea of what's going to happen. I am excited.

Oh, yes. I agree completely. And in context, the guy who said that actually discussed that SotC video. I posted it just to let people know that it wasn't a gameplay video, but rather a prototype.

I've been waiting for this since playing Shadow of the Colossus. (and sort/ by extension, Ico)

I really hope that this comes out soon (relatively, like three years) so that I can play it, and die happy.

From the guys who made Ico and Shadow Of The Colossus. I won't say anything until I play it myself.

I'm a huge fan of Shadow Of The Colossus but I've never played Ice nor do I feel like throwing down forty bucks to play a scratched up badly handled game of it just because it's such a rare game.

It's not just a rare game, it's an experience.

Most people act like Ico changed their lives LOL

I guess that was what it was like for me after playing Colossus, I yearn for more games with such epic scope, music, and art style yet I can never find another.

I wouldn't go that far, the only two games that changed my life were Final Fantasy VIII, which basically taught a lonely child his first moral code, and World of Warcraft.

Although the latter invoked far less of a moral change and more of a lifestyle shift, several lifestyle shifts actually.

But yeah, Ico is a fucking brilliant game.

Have you ever played Ico or Shadow Of The Colossus? Obviously you don't get how these games work.

I own both and have completed them dozens of times. Both games are perfect examples of brilliant gameplay mixed with emotional tension.

Colossus is quite possibly my most favorite PS2 game ever and I find myself popping it in once in awhile just to run around and explore the forgotten land.

Somehow, I have misremembered how to read quotes in my absence.

Well, Ico isn't really epic in scope or music. The gameplay is quite different from SotC. But it has almost the exact same feeling of loneliness that I find beautiful. Don't get me wrong it will have your heart racing at moments, but not in the same way as SotC... I guess I can't explain it that well lol.

I got lucky and found it int he $5 dollar bin at gamestop... it was about 2 years ago though. I guess the game would have gone up in price due to SotC's popularity.

Anyway, On topic. I am so excited about this new game. I don't think I will be disapointed.

I didn't really like Miller's Crossing. Which is weird because I loooooooove the Coen brothers.

Miller's Crossing made me fall asleep.

It was a bit too upbeat and pop-y in comparison to the music from the previous trailer.
