In responce to the amount of alcohol related chatter in the thread about the pope, i have made a thread where you can discuss booze.

so here we go, I love Fosters.

Jesus, can you believe the pope? He actually had the nerve to state publicly that condoming the use of condoms promoted the spread of AIDS. Is he drunk?

I have mixed feelings on any sort of lager... Couldn't understand why anyone could drink it, but when you try it a few times, it's not bad. I like the VKs best. Also, Cider = <3.

I don't drink often. About once every few months.

Can't stand most alcohol, I can stomach cider and vodka though.

I have nothing but black hatred for beer.

Fosters is vile, tasteless piss. Ale is the real staple drink of any right thinking man.

Wine and Champagne are also appropriate on occasion. Cider is barely appropriate ever.

Certainly so, I can just drink it without spitting it out.

Silly me, I forgot about the two alcoholic drinks I can honestly say I like; mead and whiskey.

We should make a thread about the Pope.

I like a bottle of Yewbarrow when I go up to the Lake District. An excellent ale named after an excellent climb.

How about mixed drinks?

I like Soco Sours and Midori sours. They're tasty like a dessert.

I think for me if it it's gotta be a beer, it's gotta be a Hefeweizen.

We'd just start talking about booze, but I like the idea. Someone start one and we'll see if my prediction is correct.

I like piña coladas. I often mispell it "pÃ*na", however.

I'm afraid I'm not the best when it comes to remembering to use correct accents. Now, when it comes to remembering an accent, but not knowing which and where, I'm your man.

Wheat beer is pretty fucking good.

Hmm.. I like a couple of alcoholic beverages...

Beer: Can't go wrong with any Belgian beer, like Palm, and all the different types of Triples and Doubles. From the Dutch Beers I like Hertog Jan, and Amstel the most. Tought Heineken is served more oftlen. And one of the cheapers brands as well :P.

As for liquor, I prefer a good whisky over vodka anyday, the cheap ones like 4 Roses (okay, so technically it's bourbon, but whatevzz, it's sweet and mellow, perfect for just mellowing out to a good piece of music), and Johnnie Walker Black, but the more expensive ones as well! I even aquired a taste for whiskys with a lot of iodine :P.

Althought nothing beats Vodka-RedBull when doing drinking games :P the vodka will get you loaded, and the RB will keep you awake!

Vodka is just the most horrible spirit I can think of. That and Vermouth.

Shame on you. You should be supporting an alcoholic beverage that does not taste like regurgitated cream with bleach in it.

I love Baileys and casually managed to drink a whole litre neat without realising the other week. Just kept sipping at the bottle. Tasty.

I take it that I am in the minority. That's fine. I know when I'm not wanted.

I drank Everclear once. I can't attest to any of the stories.

I used to like Guinness alright until a certain local bar ruined it for me. They had Guinness on tap and after one taste I couldn't drink anymore. It tasted like sweaty metal.... um.... picture putting a bunch of old coins in your mouth. That's what it tasted like.

I went to a party a few weeks ago.
A few bottles of guinness, most of a bottle of smirnoff and a few shots of JD did not bode well for me.

I hate most alcohols.... Probably cos I don't drink it often and am not used to the taste..

I'm a big fan of Piña Coladas too though =) They are yummy yummy!
And baileys too!

Well anything that doesn't have a too strong, alcoholic taste.

I'm keen on most alcohols. Beer, typically Carling and Fosters, although I will drink Guinness and Heineken (just dont tend to have it as much), red wine, whisky, RUM, Smirnoff.

Although I side with OddjobAbe in that Baileys isn't nice at all. Nor is vodka or cider.

i cant stand vodka or whiskey, but i've got a bottle of baileys in the cupboard, along with a half full bottle of my own homemade damson gin. fucking horrible. it tastes that bad i thought someone had put bleach in it, honestly.

i drink Stella to excess, i just love it, and i hate the nick name 'woman beater' that chavs not old enough to drink have labelled it.

cider makes me spew up now, since i over did it when i was younger.

I know some people who like Baileys, but to me it just tastes like Chocolate Milkshake.

Nope, just a normal Coca Cola. Although I think Dr Pepper and Pepsi are very slightly better. Anyone agree?

Lol, how could I forget... Guinness and Murphy's Stout, mmm, mmm, mmm! Best beer ever!

Used to work at an Irish Pub, behind the bar, and those are two of the hardest beers to tap. I could make a little shamrock in the foam with the last squirt though :).
