My Oddworld Animations & Custom Sprites
 

I got bored and felt like making some oddworld smilies. I then made a animation :D

Sorry bout the white bits, for some reason it didn't show whilst I was doing the animation. It looks better if theres a white background for it, so right click on it and then view image :)

Heres also a small smilie sheet, make your own animation with it if you want, or edit the sprites for more actions, beside my name is the template for the smilie. Make as many as you want:)

I love the animated one.

Updated the smilies and added some more, Slig now looks better, with a gun and hands. Now have Glukkons, Theres a goomba version xD Just a face, and a complete glukkom, and a glukkon body template so you can do the other glukkons if you wish :) Hope you like!

That last animation was pretty funny. I hope we get some more because these are pretty good. Wonder if someone could make game out of them.

Thanks, for something so short it takes almost 30 minutes xD Ah well, it's rewarding. Got round to doing another animation with a scrab in it, hope I did the scrab well, I'm doing a full sprite version as I type this:)

The paramite is a lot harder to do than the scrab, mainly due to the claw mouth thing, i'm trying to make it stand out....which is hard, so paramite might take a while..

Excelent work! Unfortunality they can't be used on many forums, because only OW ppl understand them :( But why are sligs green? MO style, perhaps?

There green in the first two games...but I just noticed they have a hint of yellow as well so I may edit that in at some point.

And Unfortunately I've never played the 3D oddworld games, I plan to buy them along with a xbox once I get a TV for my bedroom. (downstairs TV has one too many things plugged in :p)

Oh... Either you'll have to grab the 360 for a lower price but not get to play SW or pick the extra expensive original X-Box. What stuff is plugged in?:p

I seen some cheap Original Xbox's around so hopefully It'll stay cheap;)
And you don't wanna know what I go plugged in...:p
Nah basically theres a lot of wires behind my tv, it's like a death zone :p

Try having two DVD players, an X Box, a Wii, and some strange thingy plugged in at the same time. Then you gotta a living nightmare and a death zone put together.:happy:

I might do those tonight actually, the paramite is real hard work so i'll have a break off it.

Edit : Made a complete Scrab Sprite. It's still a 'work in progress' and the legs still need some work but I'm liking it. Feedback appreciated :)

But thanks for the comments on the Scrab, I may improve it a bit more, I'm having some trouble doing it's movements for animation but I'll get to it eventually.:)

Ah, I just do them in paint, then add the shading on Photoshop, then animate on photoshop:D

And yeah it's Mullock xD I realized I forgot his ears.

And I'd love to make a game like that, but I have no idea how to unfortunately :( (but if anyone wants to feel free to do so)

That lightsaber smilie thing was in a game I'd pay at least 2 bucks for it. I like your more. A little faster.
