I should probably buy it, it looks like my type of game, but first I need to beat C&C 3 and finish reading my Christmas Manga load.
The Lesbian scene wasn't very...intense. I saw it on youtube. |
i didnt get it as it was a split between that or kane and lynch(obviously you know what i picked).but my friend got it and said it was pretty good.

I liked it a whole lot.
Though I wanted nothing more than Urdnot Wrex bent over some sort of futuristic console with that sweet sweet Battle Master Ass bare, in the air, and ready to tear. |

I haven't even come close to beating the game yet (just bought it this past week) but I love it already.

Awesome game. Short for an RPG though. Got both endings, I prefer the first one I got. My GotY. Almost a perfect score if it weren't for the glitches.
SPOILERS: I got the ending where they ignore the Council and just focus on Sovereign the first time. Virmire was the best level in the game. I had to load a 2 hour old save to save Wrex though, in the end it was worth it. Who did yall let die, I let Ashley die, and it seems Im the only I know who did. Shame. END SPOILERS. |
Of course I chose Ashley, I spent all the game grooming her! You can't groom Kaidan, if you play as a male!

Have it, love it. Although I got stuck in the floor because I saved in it an elevator...not the smartest thing to do. So I just got passed Eden Prime again, so I'm really no wheres near finishing. But I did watch my brother finish the game.

I remember a glitch where in the citadel, Wrex didn't get in the elevator fast enough and me and Garrus did a bunch of stuff without him. When I went back to the Normandy, he was there, waiting....

I agree, some minor glitches. For me it was the one where I exited (wait...) the galaxy map, and started running around before the whole environment loaded. I got stuck behind the fence that runs around the galaxy map. On the wrong side.
The other thing that bothered me was the fact that the graphics loaded in so slow. |
The pop in never really bothered me till the end cut scene. Totally took away the awesome feel of the ending when the people barely have any detail.

Just got home, and I was telling my parents to get it for me, and my brother was like, sorry it's sold out, maybe next month, which made me even more relieved when I opened my christmas present, however late, today.
I've only got to the citadal, but am loving it, the atmosphere it-self was amazing, I loved the KOTOR series, but this game just over did it for me, the combat was actually fun, and intense, and even seeing a turian leaning against a wall, checking out an asairi, before she walked away, and he stood upright imidaitly pretending nothing had happened, sure it wasn't scripted but even when these extras don't have routines or backstories, they seem so real. And the Universe is amazing, the galatic codex is awesome in itself, just giving that extra thing for the fans of the masseffect universe. It was also the first game that I played on my 360, which added to the whole experiance. I should be playing more in the morning, can't wait. |
The game was orgasmic. Orgasmic, people. That's a good feeling, in case that was beyond your range of knowledge. Buy it. Seriously, the game makes TALKING fun.

Anonyman, that is so true, I loved KOTOR and JE, but sitting through that dialogue was annoying, but ME improved on it soo much.
Got half way or so, but had to restart due to my brother claiming onwership of the profile I used (Only just got a 360, so assumed sharing was a good idea, I was wrong) So going through again, trying to pick party members, would like to choose *spoilers* Tali and Liara, but want to romance Ashley, may go with Ashley and Garrus instead, but was planning to play as Wrex and Garrus on the second playthrough, then there's poor Kaiden (and he gets extra browning points for saying "I don't want anyone to think of me as a winer") Any suggestions? Would it hurt doing character side missions for characters I'm not going to use? (acheivement wise) Damn acheivments, I'll probably just have to complete now and then have some fun with party selection. |

I was an Infiltrator the first way around (Pistols can be quite awesome, especially with some of the great upgrades! :P), since I like sniper rifles, but wanted to have some powers as well. I chose Garrus and Wrex all the time, since I could use all weapons that way, and give each member a certain role (Wrex the main assault guy, with Shotgun and some Biotics, Garrus being the Midrange/support guy, with Assault Rifle and skills like Sabotage, and the like), and me (Infiltrator) going for the versatility (Long Range, strong use of Pistol/Marksman, and Electronics, Decryption and sabotage). I don't think it's a good idea to be a pure Soldier, or Adept, or Engineer, since you're stuck with only so many options, and then you HAVE to rely on team members, to guard your back (Soldier; you NEED some tech skills, Adept; you NEED someone with guns, Engeneer; you NEED someone with a way to kill enemies) |

Yeah this acheivements thing has realy changed it, becuase with all of the other bioware games I've played I was swapping members in an out, then again, this time you're encouraged to experiance all of the levels with all of the characters. Had to restart my playthrough as an infiltrator, with Garrus and Wrex, I agree, they work well together (haha, they remind me of the elf and dewarfs in LOTR), but doing it as a vanguard with tali and liara or whatever her name is. Yes renegade is fun, but have to finnish paragon first, as I always prefer the "good" endings. The reporter scene was funny though. Just wondering, what difficulty does everyone play it on? I always play easy on my first go through, but plan to do vertern or hardcore on my next time, but is it realy that hard? |

Nearly finnished this game, hell took a long time, but got the completist and quarian and asarai acheivements :)
I have to say, Ashley's romance sure was odd... I mean seriously, I thought she was a good character before she got a crush on me Yeah, Joker's great, actually, all voice acting, as several times stated, is fantastic. Just hitting the realy extreme choices, and am loving it :) *Spoilers, Major ones* I mean, the choice between Ashely and Kaiden, had no idea what to do, only chose Ashley cause I had to finnish the romace. Don't know why realesing that insect thing has to be just a good thing to do, you could be wanting the whole galaxy to suffer from the infestation of rachni. The whiole sovereign thing was weird, I was like, is that it? But afterwards things started clicking into place and it seemed like a decent twist, but I'm still confused about it, who created the reapers? |

Haha, you definatly you should ;) Well, not just for the one game, but for all of the games, overall, IMO, 360 has the best games at the moment, and that's what cgames conseles are for.
Just got the 360 recently, and am loving it. :) |
