I cannot be arsed to list what I have right now. But I will get back to you when I go through it all again. But I will list one of the things I asked for. Which is:


Braces!

No, not the kind that you wear to straighten your teeth. I mean the kind that hold up your trousers. I absolutely love them.

So what did you get this year?

Please don't at yell me too much if I did this wrongly and this sort of question is meant to go in the Christmas topic. I just didn't know.

I got one present. A cookbook for vegetarian students. Unfortunately, I’m a vegan not‐really‐a‐student, but the thought is lovely, and there are recipe ideas in there nonetheless. :)

I gots DVDs and lots of them, some chocolate, a new CD player and a wireless keyboard from my folks and i haven't a clue what my girlfriend and friends got me cos they were lazy and sent them too late to get to be by Christmas post.

They are damn good live, saw their hyde park show after the london bus bombings. End of tour show about 3 metres away from them. Oh my god.

I got some material gifts from my Mum after all! DVDs, four Discworld novels, a Doctor Who wall calendar (just to make a change from the hirtherto mandatory Simpsons wall calendar), and a key fob depicting a mooning Bart for some godforsaken reason. How grand.

Awesome name for a band - Rapid Eye Movement. Brilliant. I love that name. Strange, but fantastic.

And I was given in total a grand (£1000) - £20 from my father, £100 from my wife, money from all my friends, rest of family, people that wanted to stay on my good side because they think I'll give them money for sucking up to me, etc. It all totalled to just five pounds over a grand.

But my mother? She misses the good old days where I was given a tangerine for Christmas, so she got me what could be a modern day tangerine - a Wii. I said to her 'I almost bought one the other day, and I appreciate the thought, but now you're helping me make space, as one of the controllers are motion sensitive'. She thoguht I was joking and laughed. Unfortunately, I don't have much time for the Wii because of my job, but at least now I can say: 'Fuck you, Sony PS3'. This has been the first Christmas in twenty years that I have received something other than money.

An Xbox 360, with Harry Potter 5 (BLECH!), and Eternal Sonata. I went downtown and bought Halo 3, which I shall play later.

The Nightmare on Elm Street DVD set, Harry Potter 1 and 3 on DVD.

Wii T-Shirt, Sonic sweatband, Mario stylus/pen.

Some deodorant and aftershave, and lots of chocolates. Oh and don't forget that nice shiney guitar.

Yeah, I got a lot of the stuff I wanted. Happy. =)

Try setting up your computer to not autoplay CDs, then put it back in and rip. In the event that it has already installed something on your computer to block ripping, try doing it on a clean computer.

Money makes a shit present anyway like chocolates; no thought in it. At least with gift vouchers your loved one strategically chooses the shop you will never buy from.
