Anyways, it comes out tomorrow in the states and looks to be one hell of a ride.I played the Beta, and it took a while to get tired of with its 3 maps and no single player. Considering that the final version has 16 maps, plus the inevitable DLC maps, it looks like this wont get old for a while. Anyone with a PS3, 360, or good Comp owes it to themselves to pick this up. Do it, its better than Bioshock.

"All Ghillied up" is probably the best mission in the game.

And the multiplayer is outstanding.

Agreement. Although I loved the Epilogue.

I felt the story was a little weak, though. I mean, kudos to the devs for breaking the "we already know how WWII turned out so we don't have to create an engaging story" mold, but it could have used a more coherent narrative to tie everything together a little bit better. You know, in addition to the weird, disembodied satellite imaging (which, admittedly, was a pretty decent gimmick) that we get instead.

Also, it was short. Finished the campaign on Regular in about a six or so hours, but I'm going back through on Veteran. Did the Epilogue first just to get the stupid "Mile High Club" achievement, just because everyone online was bitching about how "impossible" it is.

Multiplayer: indeed outstanding. I can't stop playing Headquarters. So much fun.

Never really played Headquarters till yesterday, it is fun and does get your rank up fast. Currently rank 32. Can't wait till I get the Barret.

Out of curiosity how many of the enemy computers has anyone found ?

Found 16 so far, seem to get so wrapped up in the combat that i forget to look for them.

It has Ukraine in it, a game actually contemplates Ukraine, MY HOMELAND! YAYZ!

Oh right I played it in my friends house. Didn't play online, but single player was sex.

After one playthrough, I had found 21 out of 30. After two (went through on Veteran), I had 29 out of 30. I looked up the last one online, which was in a bullshit spot on "One Shot, One Kill" that isn't even accessible most of the time.

Call of Duty is one of the best war games. I love the 3, and I will get the 4 for PC.

I got this game yesterday, loving it so far :D. It's MUCH better then the previous COD games both in terms of gameplay and in story. I hate WWII games for the sole reason that it has no story whatsoever.
I love the realism in COD4, running into a room rambo style is a no no, I learned pretty fast :P.

Awesome game. Got it, played it, completed it.

I have bad news for people looking forward to the next game. It is rumoured that it's going to be developed by Treyarch and so will be set back in WWII. Which, personally, I think is a terrible idea. There's only so many times you can shoot a Nazi in the face before you get bored.
Some slightly good news though, Infinity Ward will be coming back to do Call of Duty 6 and it will offer some more modern combat.

EA did that with Simcity and look what happened to that.

As far as I know, Treyarch and Infinity Ward are alternating. So Infinity Ward will be making 6, 8, etc. (assuming it goes that far) and Treyarch will be making 5, 7, etc.
I have a feeling Activision are going to become the next EA, they're already trying to compete against them and the merge with Vivendi has made them a lot bigger.

EA will have Activision for desert any day. I hope they don't though.

Call fo Duty 4 and Medal of Honor Airborn are the best ware games. I am getting them for PC. Disgruntled Intern, what to you know about me? NOTHING!!!

Sorry to kill your dreams but I've heard some bad things about MoH:A. Not just from Yahtzee but his opinion is the only one in video form that isn't half way through a podcast.

Anyway it's cool, perhpas it isn't the best, excuse me, but I think it is better than many war games... there are Gears of War 2, God of War, ect, if you don't like it.

Just got COD 4 this week and I have to say I'm not surprised with how awesome it is. The last COD I played was 2 so I have to say this is even better than that one even though they are of course two very different time periods in combat.

I got call of duty 4 for xmas with my ps3 and I was laughing at all the keenos on multiplayer rank 55 and have headsets..now I am one of them. I love this game, anyone with this game and wants to play together add me; zestylemon is my tag

Just got the game for the 360 for my bday, don't have live yet, getting it soon, but this game is great!
Never been much of a fan of the COD series, but this game is seriously awesome, I mean, you couldn't have a better prologue.

Don't know why I've never bought any of the previous COD cames myself.
Offline multiplayer is fun, but most of my freinds are overseas, it's mainly me and my brother played, so it isn't that fun, I guess some kind of NPC system would have helped it, but we're got surprizing fun from through gas grenades at each other, then firing blindly untill one of us dies, can't wait untill I get live though.
Only have two laptops so far, so I'm going to have to go back, assuming there's one on every mission. But it's kind of hard when you're in a dense city, shooting frantaclly at arabs in a tv station filled with computers.

Personaly I enjoy online play the best, its amazing and plus I am at top of table everytime with over 200-300 points! Lol

Tis fun, especialy with a headset!
