Hmm, I'm evidently in the same non-human boat as AlienMagi. I don't like to go places (why go places when you can look up pictures and YouTube videos of them on the net?) visit friends (contact them online is fine) do things (all of the things I can do are accessable from a keyboard).

Thank you, all! While 20 is a rather miserable number to be associated with, I had a very pleasant weekend spent eating out, watching films, and walking up and down hills. The celebrations culminate tonight with a trip to Monday’s top nightclub. Also, I recommend La Tasca as a place to eat out that is very accomodating to veganism. :)

I don’t think 21 imbues me with any powers over those I had aged 18, but it’s still a rather significant number, much more of a milestone than 20. I’m thinking of doing something on a larger scale next time round. But that’s virtually a year away; it’s worse than thinking about Christmas early (p.s. delete the Christmas thread in Off‐Topic; it doesn’t deserve to exist until December at the earliest)!

I did blow out all the candles on my cake, but I didn’t wish anything on PV. I also couldn’t eat it because it contained various egg derivatives.

FYI, Nate is correct about my Internet connection. Maybe I should have asked for broadband access for my brighday; all I got was what seems to be a jolly good read, a portrait, and this lousy cold.

and all i got when i was a young whippersnapper was an orange, a pennifiig and a clip round the ear!
