The Golden Era?
 

Okay, so we all know about the old farts telling everyone about "When I was your age..." or "Back when I was suchnsuch age...." and they claim that back then, it was their prime age blahdiblahdiblah.
But what about you? Did you ever have an era, a year, a month when all was well with the world, and you couldn't be happier, and why? Are you going through it now? Or, for the younger Inhabitants, what would make your Golden Era if you havn't experienced it yet?

For me, I'd have to say, seeing as I don't think I've had one yet, that my Golden Era would be when I leave home and get the job I want. Yeah, I've always wanted to be able to be rid of my insufferable parents and earn my own keep... *sigh* only a few more years...

When I was four and knew nothing about the world. But other then that, no, I've yet to gain this experience.

My (Hopeful) golden Era is rooming with a friend of mine, whether during college or not.
I can imagine doing food shopping for foods, AAAAAAAAAAAND knowing how to cook.
Playing Video games every night up until the wee hours of the morning.
Something like in clerks, with Dante and Randall? Except Dante is a better actor-wait, this isn't on topic.

The closest thing to a golden era I had was before I was a thieving, lying asshole and more of a sweet young child, ah well.

It's okay, we all become theiving, lying assholes sooner or later. *pets*

I can't tell whether I'm in my 'golden age' or not, I don't have any particularly depressingly low points in my life to compare good points too.

We shall see however, with my upcoming trip to Europe, and afterwards when I move out of home with friends.

I reckon it’s far too late for me to ever have any kind of Golden Age. That said, I am generally getting happier, on the whole. I think. Did you know Sedona has the only McDonald’s outlet in the world to use turquoise arches instead of its usual golden ones? :D

Yes I did. We had drinks at our house, but I wasn't really in the mood, so I spent most of the night watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force and looking on forums.

My golden era so far was primary school when I was ignorant, and the world seemed great, but I am in high school, so maybe I'll have another one soon, or just after I finnish school.

I think most of you are in for a rude awakening if you think that you are going to enjoy life more when you're out on your own. If this hasn't happened for the rest of humanity what makes you think it'll work for you?

I had a teen-life crisis about a week ago. Life was so damn good when I was just an ignorant kid. But I'd have to say that during this year I've turned downright looney. And I like it.

I despise angsty teenagers. But I love old people. I looove old people.

They share similar interests to me, similar ideologies, similar levels of physical activity and similar levels of intelligence.

Yes, dementia is a wonderful thing.

My Golden Age happened around the Devaronian Period, when my ancestor was fighting off a trio of angry carnivores.

So many memories.

The summer of 05 was pretty sweet. My whole ninth grade year was pretty good looking back on it despite still being the reject. Tenth grade was alright, besides the lethargic despressive phase of adolescence setting in. I guess from age 14 to 16 has been my "golden era" so far, and of course, childhood was just great. I don't know if I'll experience a "golden era" again, as life just seems to be getting busier and less satisfying.

My 'golden era' will probaly be when I start fucking and boozing.
