So I get this email...
So one day like any other I get this email from somebody named "wendy" I assume it's just junk mail. You know some email linking to a porn site. Instead it says:
:
Well I'm really bored so I reply: :
So I open it up to see: :
![]() ![]() Well now that I've seen these photos I can't help but to wonder who this person is and am looking forward to talking to her. But then I read the email that was below this one: :
I was just so shocked I hadn't thought for a second after reading that big email that she was a scammer but someone who needed help getting out of a poor place. Well now my question to you is: Should I just confront her telling her what I've found out and most likely not get a reply. Should I toy with her to see what I can get from her? What would you do? |
Toy with the bitch.
Alcar... |
Don't confront. That would be a bad idea, toy with her, make her think you're clueless about what she's going to do.
|
:
You should ask her to send YOU money so YOU can leave Russia! It'll be fun! |
You're the master, Venks. Talk with her in IM and question her a bit till she breaks.
Then report her to the police. Hooray. [Edit] Andandand, how do you know those photos are of her, hmm? It could be some ephebophillic 70 year old man for all you know. |
Convince her to cyber with you, but don't reciprocate. Then confront her.
|
Fuck that. Pretend to understand, and offer to send her several expensive gifts. Include a few examples (laptop, iPod, etc.)
When she picks one, make a totally false version and send it to her. (I.E. the computer is a 3-ring binder with cardboard keys and a marker screen, iPod a mentos box with colored to look like one) Then rig it so she pays he shipping. |
LOL! Oh I so wanna do that sometime. I'm gonna reply to my spam too!
|
Eh, I suggest confrontation, I dunno. Maybe you should make a poll, scamming her back seems kinda low to me.
|
easy!
say that you are Bill gates Then send her a massive cheque for infinate pounds made out of paper and with a false signiture on it. Then tape a note on the back saying HA HA GOT YOU! |
Send her some pictures of yourself, but just send pictures of some fat old guy, and say
"REALLY looking forward to meeting you, as a matter of fact, I am in Russia right now, how about we meet?" That'll fend her off. |
Copy and paste everything PV ever posted into an email to her. That'll teach her
|
You know you're all being idiots. Not one of you stopped to think about her(?) being some cyberhacker and possibly looking for oneways into Venk's computer.
Besides, if she was trying honest business (and it's obvious she was not from the beginning of the second email) she should not show superhot pictures of herself straight from the beginning, but more casual clothing. Also makes you wonder who took the photo, unless she had it on the Auto-Flash setting. I read in a library book that I think was called Net Crimes and Misdimeanors, that you shouldn't play around with people like that and encourage them nor confront the directly and blow their cover (that will just piss them off and they will try hacking your computer of sending you constant spam and trouble), but instead find out who their Internet Provider (IP) is and getting them to close down the troublemakers email account with as little attention as possible drawn to you. |
:
|
Awesome, toy with her, it'll be pretty fun for you. :D
|
:
I am impressed. |
You didn't? You'll notice that he does that when his name is brought up in a random context. Makes him feel special.
RELEVANT: Seems like a nice gal. |

|
I got a weird e-mail once from an african, who said he's sending me the will money of a relative who deid over there in a helicopter crash.
|
Yay, I get a free plug! Or did I pay for it in ways unmentionable? At first I thought you should confront the person, whoever it actually is, but they clearly have a decent understanding of Internet technologies, and I wouldn’t risk incurring their wrath. Don’t respond.
Report it. People get hurt by these tactics, and you’ll do more good by reporting it than toying with this person, which probably won’t even phase the person. |
:
|
You guys never watch 20/20 or anything? You can get a fucking virus just for opening the email. Don't play with these things just spam it whe nyou dont know what it is.
|

|
I think this should be closed. It's just a personal advice thread turned into a circlejerk ground for horny men.

Messing with 'her' would be great but, as others have suggested, the repercussions may not be. I always forget how much power internet criminals have these days... |
"Interesting"? It's just a bunch of people acting like 12 year olds and posturbating.
|
how about just reporting he/she/it to the police or what ever
that should be good enough also get a virus scan to scan her/his/its emails |
I'd be more afraid that the photos she sent to you are not really photos about her. X] *imagines one fat, ugly, old woman*
Dude, seriously, I don't think it's allowed for her to work in another country without any right working-visa to that. I know that, just found it out since I wanted to work in the US to earn money. But for foreigns, it's forbidden. You need a visa. Ask her about that before you let her go in your country or you're gonna get into lotta trouble... |
I've always wanted to toy with people like that. go ahead
|
So Venks....wotcha gonna do? Tho i reckon if you're gonna toy with her, go to a net cafe or summat....and have fun ;)

hi there I just registered on this forum to say yeah it's definately a scam. I got the same email wording and everything from zhenya@clapmail.info and did a google search and found this thread as well as the other site listing the clapmail.info address as a scam.
It's a pretty poor attempt at scamming since the email address is dubios and the email is just very general and not specific. Not to mention "she" is willing to jump on a plane over here and meet someone she's never even met. I can pretty much say it's not even a she on the other end but some guy. No doubt if I reply to this email "she" will then reply with some sob story about needing money to get over here and wanting my credit card details which is what the other clapmail.info address scams were about Maybe this thread can stay open incase other people get the same email and start looking for information. Some people fall for scams pretty easy like that nigerian inheritance scam. I even got another picture of "her". She's too skinny for my tastes anyway, needs to eat more. I just binned the email. http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c218/timdean1/a.jpg |
Oh, my god, that is rich.
|
Timbo, you may very well be my favorite new user, as that was by far the most coherent post for a newbie Ive EVER seen.

Very, good, we need more like you for our secret barinwash facility.
I mean staff (same thing, really) |
Ask her for a working-Visa or you're gonna get a lot of trouble when you let her work in a foreign country!!
Sorry, I had to say it again. Man, I'm outta this thread now... |
I only joined because i search for this crazy woman who keeps emailing me with photos of her. If i could find a way to copy her pics i would. Anyhow i got the same emails as below and know she claims to be in St. Petersburg.
This is what she is saying now: My honey ! it is me,can you believe I am in St. Petersburg. I can't believe ,it was wonderful flight and they gave red vine in plane, wow,I have never tried such tasty one!!!!! I went the bus up to the Subway from the airport .In Subway long went, it was so is delightful I was in travel agency today, but my documents are not ready yet, it will be ready tomorrow. I will go to travel agency again to get all info about my trip. And of course, when I will get it - I will send it to you! It is such great city and it takes a few hours to travel from one end to other. I rented the flat for few days. People said to me some nice places in St. Petersburg while he was Such a great city it is. I have no words to explain. you can't imagine how great St. Petersburg is,to be fair I wouldn't like to live here,a lot of cars, people , voice and pollution.Ugly traffic and people with crazy eyes. When I get off plane in airport St. Petersburg policeman asked about passport and he looked at me like I am any enemy, I think all people here are a little crazy at terrorism.Life here in St. Petersburg is expensive. I was going through some shops today and it is much more expensive than in our town. Food and all the general things. It is the same country but different prices, what a great change. I think people living in St. Petersburg are very cautious ,I think so. But I think that I have done my choice and to be fair I don't want to live here,it is not the city of my dreams. you know I am not coward I am not afraid I know it is my chance to meet kind man .I do hope I am right. and I think you are too kind to make any bad things I feel it. Well,I will close this letter ,please write as soon as possible!see you soon! KISS . Great kiss from St. Petersburg!!!!!!!!!!
