Nope, no one has basement round here. Has something to do with the dirt. I plan to hide in a local ditch, as the tornado would pass over me if it got close.


So yeah, I have no where to go, thats why I'm here. I can run to the ditch in less than 30 seconds.

Dude, tornadoes pass over ditches, they do not go into them. If I was too hold on to something sturdy, it would pass right over me. Anyways its clearing up and birds are singing.

Uhm... tornadoes are made of pure wind. A ditch isn't going to do you a whole lot of good unless it's half a mile deep. In which case you're talking about a canyon and not a ditch.
