Happy Valentine's Day!

Well, as most of us know/remember/don't care to pay attention to whatsoever, today is the day we seem to worship hearts.
Yes, today is Valentine's day, so...... um... yeah.
Hope today was better than yesterday and full of love and chocolate!
Have a happy valentine's day! (or what's left of it...)

Rex Tirano 02-14-2007 03:12 PM

Happy Valentines Day everyone. :)

I had a fabulous day with my boyfriend, and got lotsa cards off my mates. ^_^

snuzi 02-14-2007 04:10 PM

Happy Valentine's Day everybody! I hope you've all enjoyed it, or will enjoy it :)

Unfortunately, I will not be able to celebrate it until Saturday, when I see my girlfriend. Although, the wait only makes me anticipate seeing her even more, and makes the event that much more special :D.

I had a fabulous day with my boyfriend.

Would that be Richy Rich, still, or...?

My friend and I made Valentine T-shirts and sold them around school. It was a pretty big profit.

Have a nice day with your loved ones, people;)

Nope.

Valentines day was mostly spent recording the bass parts for our new EP, although in the early hours of yesterday morning I was round my mates house and I think she may be interested in me, if so then its sound our kidda.

Godlesswanderer 02-14-2007 04:59 PM

Happy valentines all, although it is a bit late. I got a card from the loverly Rexy (mmmm favouritism :p) and also one from my Japanese penpal who bought me chocolates and sent them over.

None from people that are interested in me in that way but I'm not too bothered to be honest.

moxco 02-14-2007 09:12 PM

To be honest I didnt even know it was vallentines day till I saw the 7:30 news. :p

Jordan 02-14-2007 10:44 PM

lol it was the same as every day for me

Spirrow 02-15-2007 03:54 AM

Teh.

Closed.

I mean come on people, it's not a holiday. I think people just use
it as an excuse to get free candy, now. So really, I mentioned it once
to mother yesterday and didn't spare it another thought.(Just like me
not caring about easter either.)

snuzi 02-15-2007 06:01 AM

Actually, businesses use it as an excuse to sell you things. It's marketing holiday more than it is an actualy one. Nonetheless, I enjoy celebrating it, as I have someone to celebrate it with.

Jordan 02-15-2007 07:36 AM

Actually, Valentine's day is just another day. You can show someone you love them any day, but if you don't give your loved one a valentine they don't like it much. So it's best to show a little EXTRA love to them on that day.

Bullet Magnet 02-15-2007 09:28 AM

I didn't even see a single living person, let alone anyone special... which would have been difficult in itself, given the distance... stupid Internet.

I later realised that I was supposed to have attended a biology practical that I knew nothing about. Dammit.

That's rubbish. My girlfriend could care less about whether or not I get her something on Valentine's Day, as we show one another that we love each other everyday. Besides, how can you put a date on when you're supposed to love or care for someone more? If you ask me, you should care about that particular person the same every single day, if not more as the days go by.

Statikk HDM 02-15-2007 11:45 AM

I bought myself some lube and donuts. Pretty much the average Wednesday evening, now that I think about it.

That's adorable. ^_^

But usually if a girl says "don't get me anything", you better get her something [but only something small]. Otherwise she'll get upset. :p

Aren't girls simple?

- Rexy

Bullet Magnet 02-15-2007 04:33 PM

Yes.

Wait, no they're not, they're needlessly complicated.

My roommate's chat up line was "it's convenient". He then listed off several reasons why that was, and used the term "logically" several times. For some reason, it did not work.

Cullen Heath 02-15-2007 06:56 PM

Nope.

Aw, dude, I'm sorry to the both of you.
Is that why your no longer in bed?

Yup...

Believe me, I shower her with things even when she says not to. I just like to spoil her :p. But she'd never get upset with me if I didn't get her something, or got something she didn't want, since she isn't that way. She's much more appreciative of our time together, rather than material objects.

Arxryl 02-15-2007 07:29 PM

Well, that's what a relationship is supposed to be about.
In a way, this relates to Valentine's Day, so I'll mention that I asked someone out today... I hope she says yes.

By the way, I'm glad to hear that most of your Valentine's days have gone well, or at least not sucked.

Precisely. Although, most dim-witted teenagers nowadays don't seem to grasp that ;).

Nate 02-15-2007 08:30 PM

Perhaps because their parents think that showering them with the newest consoles and the widest TV screens is a replacement for a parental relationship?

God bless this generation.

Oh gawd I wish I had that. :fuzzle:

Snuzi, you love your girlfriend a lot, and this sounds like it's gonna be a long relationship with her, I hope you can be happy with her forever.
I'm glad you all had great Valentine's days, I wish I had a great one...

Facsimile 02-15-2007 10:59 PM

What the hell is Valentines day?

Bullet Magnet 02-16-2007 02:42 AM

It's a day that once celebrated the patron saint of love (among other things) Saint Valentine, hence the correct name, St. Valentine's Day. However this little detail is now conveniently ignored, largely by the corporations that have commercialised the day so, leaving many embittered about the whole experience and thundering against the whole ordeal, when really all they need is a girlfriend and a bouquet.

Aw, thanks alot, dude :). I really appreciate it. I do love her very much, and I am positive that this will last forever :D.

And don't worry, dude. Someday you'll find someone for yourself. You just have to give it time, and be patient. Don't settle for just anyone. I did that, and it all payed off in the end :).

Jordan 02-16-2007 07:11 AM

My girlfriend ended it with me not long ago, we'd been going out a year at that... We're still friends, but I've got to move on I guess...

snuzi 02-16-2007 12:28 PM

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. At least you guys are still friends though.

Slaveless 02-16-2007 02:51 PM

My Valentine's Day was spent at home, where I sat down and talked to you guys most of the time. It was a snow day, or a day in which students are excused from classtime because the outside is covered in snow, blocking all possible safe routes to school. So yeah, even though that was the day I was suppose to tell someone I still cared for them very much, and would have presented two flowers, a snow storm came by and I sat inside, ruining most of the kindness. I did it the next day, so yeah, it wasn't all that bad.

Sorry to hear about the ex-girlfriend thing, Arxryl. At least it lasted for some time and you had some good times.

Glad to see Snuzi with some he loves, or his other half. Never let her down, trust me, that ain't great to do. But I see you never doing that, by the way you describe your love.

snuzi 02-16-2007 03:24 PM

I always try not to let her down. And apparently, even when I think I do, she thinks otherwise :p.

Oh! It's nothing like that. I asked a girl out the other day, and she hasn't said yes/no yet so I'm still hopeful. But thank you for your sympathy anyways!

Gretin 02-16-2007 06:44 PM

I think Slaveless may have meant Jordon_Boi, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, I didn't really do anything special on Valentine's Day, since unlike some people (:p) I don't get many chances to see my girlfriend very often. And she wasn't online that day and had no credit on her cellphone, but I sent a text message so I guess you could say I did one thing. Anyway...

I agree with Snuzi, too, and yes, I'd say don't get too worried about finding someone, just concentrate on making friends, both male and female, and one day I'm sure you'll find someone who is suitable. But take your time about it and get to know them well as friends, then if it does get any furthur, you've got that friendship base! And if it doesn't, you get a good friend anyway.

Then again, I probably don't know what I'm talking about, so I should probably shut up now :D

Alf Shall Rise 02-16-2007 06:50 PM

I'm sad...nothing happened to me on Valentine's Day *sob sob cry cry.* But that may have happened cuz I'm not the one to drool over hot girls, I'm cool 8)

Jordan 02-17-2007 03:00 AM

Nah, I don't drool much... I just hope I can find a girl who my parents like, and she is just right for me. My ex and me had SO much in common, we're both Nintendo freaks, and other stuff. But it's over... And hopefully I can find another girl like that someday...

Godlesswanderer 02-17-2007 05:47 AM

If I had a girlfriend and my parents didn't like her, it wouldn't bother me much. If they don't like her it's their problem, not mine.
Now, if my friends didn't like her, that'd be a different story.

snuzi 02-17-2007 01:51 PM

Why would it matter if your friends didn't like her? As long as you two are compatible and care for one another, the last thing you should be worrying about is your friends' opinions of her.

Although, if she were using you, then I could understand if your friends disapproved of her :p.

skillya_glowi 02-17-2007 02:09 PM

Goodness, so much sad news...
Well, happy late Valentine's day, if it counts now...

I spent the day at home, eating doughnuts and listening to the radio. I'm a lonely woman...:nonono:
Oh, and I called about sixty of my friends, and approximately half of them went out tonight. So I guess it being Valentine's day does have some effect on relationships.
Well, yeah :D
