Do you check your attachments, SS? :p They're invalid, upload them on something like MEGAUPLOAD.

DONE NOW ENJOY.. AGAIN :P |
Oh. em. gee! Brilliant find! Those conceptions should be in the real game!
Maybe there was an extra Zulag that was removed or something. Yet again, wonderful find, well done! |
I tried pulling the lever on the other side then it brang up a message saying "Cannot find ID for Lever_2893V2FS" then crashed lol
|
Try putting the PS1 version of AO in the disc drive, and click play movie files. It shows you a glitch from the demo version.

Nah, I haven't actually got the demo. I heard it was from the demo from a thread somewhere.
|
I remember the "no entry" sign from the demo...
These are excellent shots. |
Cool. There you go, hey? Oh, the joys of doing what isn't meant to be done. Nice find.
|
What demo did you use to achieve this?
and where did you get it? I'd love to try it myself |

Ooh, gnarly discovery, SligStorm. Strange the floor isn’t contiguous between the two screens. It definately makes you wonder just how many screens and alternative screens were left out of the final game.

Man that was weeeeeird! 'Stay here?' That sounds so cool, I think it's better than wait. The demo is really weirdly changed, I think the Sligs do that to the Muds in AO anyway, it's probably because they spotted Abe, but when you got out of the way, they shot the Mud instead.
|
great video!
too bad you didn't film the "extra screen" glitch |
Here ya go Xav

Excellent! Thank you very much :D
|
Nice! It's freaky how that floor sounds metal! :D It's a great room, but did you really have to make Abe jump into a wall? :p Nah, joke. Great find, it's interesting...
|
This is very interesting. Seeing the orginal concepts of what the game was suppose to have makes you wonder why they changed it. But some of them seem pretty obvious. Take that secrets thing. I'm sure they did not want people to be exposed to the fact that Mudokons were hidden in the game, since that would expose a bit much to the gameplay. But the extra screen was awesome, nevertheless.
Yet, this reminds me of the AE PC demo. Those who have played it will see similar changes between the final game and the demo as well. Edit: I just noticed this; the screen in the first video where SligStorm first says 'Stay here', you can see an Elum Chubs advertimate. Just saying. |
yes, that's in the final version as well ;)
|
Woah! Funky! It's always amazing what people do when they are bored, or just curious...
|
Xav, i already have this AO DEMO for PSX in my PSP:)
Y'all are waiting for the PS3 to play PSX games on your PSPs and in Russia we already playing PSX games freely. All kinds of - even 4-disc FF7 or 3-disc Discworld Noir. Do you wanna an AbesOddysee.pbp file?:)i can give it to you |
Who cares about the crappy PSP? :p
|
heh no thanks, I don't have a psp and I'm not planning to buy one
|

Cool this is making me want to do some exploring :D.

Elum Chubs is probably like, "Scrab Cakes", Elums that were killed for a type of food.
|

|
I know. I was just explaining to anyone who didn't know (lol woah what a good excuse...omg...you can read what I'm thinking?!?)
|
Elum Chubs is sort of there. They placed a bigger shadow around that, causing you only to see a small corner of it. It wasn't stripped from the game. I just pointed the demo thing out because you can actually see it.
