None of those pictures are the real thing - they're all just various myths that have sprung up around the iPhone in the last few years. Check out the original link; the photo of Jobs and what's in his hand. Apparently it just has a big touch screen instead of buttons - not exactly an original idea but one that has not really caught off before now.

Iphone? Myspace? Just a little outside thought here. I dislike the overusage of cellphones anyways, but now there are hundreds of types out there. Something for the gadgphiles, but already owning a mobile telephone and an mp3 player I could scarecely be interested. It really doesn’t look revolutionary. There are already mp3‐playing, Internet‐browsing ’phones on the market.
Now if it could consolidate my wallet and my housekeys into one manageable block, then I’d be interested. Those things are a bugger to sit on. |

In my opinion, the whole idea is completely pointless. A phone should just be a phone. I mean, is it really that big a deal to switch between using your phone and your mp3 player? Do we really have to keep coming up with these all-in-one electronic devices? I just think it's a waste of money.

But the main idea I don't like with these all-in-one kind of products, is that if it's stolen, it's all gone. That why I have a 256mb mp3, no big loss or gain to anyone. |
I suppose it may save you money, although they usually charge you more for the all-in-one products to make a nice profit for themselves. Although, it doesn't benefit any one of us that already have the two products seperately.

But oh, the good old days when a phone was a phone, an mp3 player was an mp3 player, and a TV was a TV...now it's all meshed together in some kind of space-age gadget I know more than half the world's population couldn't afford. Shame.

If you've got a good phone and an iPod, this will possibly be cheaper but, more importantly, will reduce the number of gadgets you have to carry around.

I know what you mean. I got an Ipod Video last year, and I kinda regretted it. The videos kill the battery on that thing extremely fast. I would have been happy with just a regular ol' Ipod, but unfortunately, they don't sell those anymore.
That's another one of their gimmicks. Come up with a new product, get rid of the old one, therefore causing anyone who wanted the original to buy the new, more expensive one, and ultimately make more money. |

I am seriously biased against iMac when you compare it to...Microsoft for starters, but I don't see anything absolutely god-awful in their computers, for example, aside from the fact of myself feeling truly sorry for anyone who has to use an iMac. |
God I can't believe how many of you are against moving forward with technology. Yes, I already have a cellphone and an iRiver, but I would prefer to have an all in one device so I have less to carry around.

I mean look at the damn thing! It's got so much crap on it, it's hardly a phone. Infact, from what I know, it's quite hard to use as a phone aswell. I mean it's a freaking brick with freaking colourful buttons on it. Also, unless you have a palm the size of New Jersey, you won't find holding the brick exactly comfortable. |
