Snuzi's Random Doodles and Shtuff
 

Since I've been having trouble drawing Oddworld-related stuff during the past few days, I've decided to start a non-Oddworld drawing thread, so that I could post all of my other little doodles and such.

Your stuff looks reminiscent of Johnen Vazquez, which is cool, but over time you start to develop your own style.

Yes, I know. I've been trying to create my own style of drawing, but it's easier said than done. I've just gotten so used to this style, that it's going to be awhile before I can actually develop my own.

Wow, it looks like you could have been an artist for Invader Zim. Your style looks very similar.

Heh, Chemistry actually. The teacher is a dunce, and the material bores me due to it's simplicity, so I find myself drawing stuff there quite often to pass time :p.

Wow, he kinda does. That's kinda funny, since I draw little cartoons with floating heads, limbs, etc. all the time, and have never noticed that until ya brought it up.

That last one made me laugh, and its hard to make me laugh...

Nope, I don't, but I didn't want to say anything since I would only be contributing to it. Besides, I read that little announcement thing ya typed up and didn't want to be one of the individuals who constantly said "Stop spamming!" or "Stay on topic." :p.

And thank you, I'm glad ya like 'em :D. Heh, of course I'm not wasting it. I already know the information, so doodling in class and slacking off is ok, right? :p

Finally, after many days of not being able to draw a single thing during my stay in Poland, I have finally drawn something! It's just a bunch of doodles as always, but at least I'm drawing again :p.

You are creative and have an interesting eye for designing characters. however, I really think you should steer away a little from the Vasquez style. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just he's a very defined artist well known for his own style and ONLY his style and as an artist you should try and develop your own kind of style as you pursue art. I'm not saying totally revamp your stuff, just make it speak for yourself more. Other than that, it's good plus you have an interesting way of writing numbers :).

Heh, I know I should alter my style a bit, but it's easier said than done. I've been trying to do so for years, but it always seems to look somewhat similar to the style I currently use. Plus, I'm not even sure if I'm going to draw for a living or even draw for fun as I get older. In fact, to be completely honest, I don't exactly think my doodles are any good :p.

Perhaps if I practice over the years, I will finally develop my own style that I can stick with, but until I do, I suppose I'm stuck with the current style that I use.
