Oddworld Booklets
Hey people, don't know if I've ever told you about this, but quite a while ago I made these little booklets for certain businesses on Oddworld, for example, Slig Barracks, Rupture Farms etc.
I've finally had chance to take pictures of them, and I'm posting them now! I'll upload Rupture Farms first. Remember, this was quite a while ago, so I made lots of mistakes, I'm really sorry about that. artwork, Jordan. Though I thought mudokons only lived twenty Oddworld years (considerably longer than an Earth year). But it's your creativity that matters. I wish I could scroll down constant pages of this stuff. By the way, what's up with the "Jordan's Special" pictures? And since I can't zoom in, what was that product called above the Mudokon Pops? Anyway, the Slig Barracks! Cool work, Jordan. Adding the "5 Moolah" to the back of the booklets
gives the impression that you would sell them as issues of a comic or magazine. |

Yeah, Baby Chows, Butt Flo and Chill Pills. You can probably find
the images with those products on them easily on the web or find them in the avatar list. |

This is reminiscent of a handbook I wrote on 'A Slig's Guide to Life', as well as a short lived attempt at hand drawn Oddworld comics me and a friend attempted. I might post the Slig guidebook up sometime. This stuff is cool though, Jordan. We want more! We want more! We want more!!

Hardly long time member. I've technically been here only a year and a half, due to delays in account activation. When you get a compliment from Splat or dripik, it means something. If you get one from some members, it's a miracle.

doesn't mean they're are not human beings and still get amazed-even if they don't say anything-at people's work. (Wonder what Miss Glowi would have said if she was a moderator?) |
Probably the same thing...? It's just I think the mods are busy and I'd be surprised to get a comment from them.

Exactly. All the moderators besides Rich and Rexy are either 18 or
older, meaning they're probably busy busting their humps every day to make a living. So I wouldn't be surprised if they said they have better things to do than check every thread in the forum to see what they like. |
These are great! I remember doing similar drawings in the few years following the release of both Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus. I think I have a whole drawing/sketchbook dedicated solely to my Oddworld drawings too! :) Keep up the great work Jordan!

:p And time for me to expand on my comment :D Yes, I also do a lot of Oddworld work, and I certainly remember doing lots of things like that! When I make my art thread somewhere in the near future, I'd be sure to post lots of things that I drew on Oddworld when I had just become a fan. And to tell you the truth, the fact that you're doing those is a sure sign of obsession. I say, keep it up! (And I love the colouring, too) |

These booklets are awesome-ness. I love them. I like the Rupture Farms one. It makes me want to go shut down Rupture Farms and punch Mullock in the face. But it still is good. I like it.
