Um... well my mum got to Scrabania before she even gave it to me. It was a present, see.
|
My mum Enjoys it.
|
my mum got to slig barracks but got stuck....
oddworld has inspired lost of people for example my 52year old grandma plays on oddworld and has completed them all!! |
I could care less.
|
My mother hardly cares about Oddworld. She only buys me the games
because I like them. |
...hmmmm...
:
To my mum that "little green alien", who makes anoying sounds, is so irritating... My fother dosent know anything bout oddworld |
Dusan, he meant "lots" of people, not "lost". Just a mistake.

You can still edit your mistake you know, Mega-mud.
I hope to recieve another Oddworld game for my birthday in about thirteen days. And that's the only thing I'm excited about for that day to come. |
I don't know what my mom thinks about it,but my dad likes it even though he hasn't played it yet
|
Well, since when AO came out me and my father hired then bought it and a playstation, I think they think of Oddworld quite highly.
|
I dont know what my parents think of the oddworld games they dont really know them.
|
Lucky you, Mudoko_Jedi, my mother thinks "that little green Alien" isn't
the nicest looking thing in the world. Hey, that's just how I felt about Abe when I first saw him. |
Not bad topic here...oh my word this computing is slow...It takes ages to scroll. Well..it is what you expect being free access.
[Back to Topic] I am surprised that all your parents approve of oddworld. Mine don't..they think its is strange and well "odd." To be honest my parents don't know enough to judge games..which leads to don't know enough to actually play them. so :p |
:
...my mom hated it. "What is that for unrealistic sh*t you bought?" (dad) "What are you for a sick girl!" Guess what? I don't care a pap for it. I like it. And my dad can bite me anyway. :dodgy: |
Bah, my parents don't give a flying care.
They let me play even M-rated games, because they say we're gonna see it anyways one day. But my mom did get a little ancey of me playing Darkwatch, for the only sexual scene in the entire damn game. But yeah. I don't think they know of Oddworld anyways! |
Mom: could care less.
Dad: I've found him playing it. |
Well, parents sometimes have better things to do other than
sit in front of the television all day. But I remember before the PS2 came out and long before I even knew about Oddworld, my mother played a few games on my PS1. Then she got a independent job at home and hasn't played since then. |
I'm English we say (mum)
and some of you may be American and say (mom) my mum says all Young people should have a interest....oddworld of course same to me....i caught my mum playing Abe's Exodus. and in my eyes oddworld (still) grows on people... |

I was hoping for no answer there... |
mom:"What is that ugly creature?"
dad:"cool game!" |
I guess I'm lucky I don't have to go through half the hardships
you people do. I work and homeschool, but that makes my life only easier. And not having "the man of the house" around is a bonus. (thumbs up with wink) |

My parents show no intrinsic delight in Oddworld, though Mum sometimes gets all cutesie when she sees me playing the 2D games for the first time in a while. I also don't know what they think of my deep-rooted love of Oddworld. I'm sure they'd like me to get up to other things once in a while. |
Not exactly a bad idea if you like to sit in front of the TV five hours
in one setting like I do sometimes on the weekend. |

Well, mine is a long story.
When I first got AO for my birthday, my parents laughed at it. My mother was fine with it, she even sometimes watched me play. My dad liked it, it seemed. He even helped me get through the harder parts. However, about 3 or 4 years later, they realized that I was seriously into this thing. And they flipped. My mum told me that I must not play that game again, because it is "childish and a bad influence". I didn't give a shit. I would play it when my parents weren't in the house. My dad became indifferent to it, but he didn't suddenly lash out at it like my mother did. So I asked my dad for the second Oddworld game. We looked it up on the Internet (he said that he would buy it for me for my birthday) and when he saw that it cost $32.00, he told me that it was too expensive. When I asked him about it, he said, "Well, if it was a good game, then I would buy it for you, but Oddworld..." I was disappointed, but I didn't give up. Finally, I found a used version of the game for $10. He said he would think about it. But lately, for some reason, my parents were all acceptance. My mother didn't mumble under her breath when I read her my fanfiction, "Sami's Oddysee", and when I was playing Exoddus at a friend's house, my dad even came up to it and asked, "How is it?" So, I suppose, my parents finally accepted the fact that I am (may I say this?) a true fan of Oddworld. Maybe not approve of it, but.... Dang, I had to tell my entire life story to channel the concept of my family acceptance status to people. |
what does your mum mumble.
|
Indeed.
Mum actually completed the Oddworld games (AE and AO) when i was about 3. Not old enough to play the games yet. When the X-box and MO came out. MO was the first game on our X-box. Mum completed it too. She doesn't care much for Strangers Wrath though. Dad doesn't play it. But he said he likes the looks of it an' everythin'. So really my parents like Oddworld. Seeing as it was one of them that introduced it to me :). |
Oh, my dad loves it! In AO he rescued all 99 Mudokons and all 300 from AE. He just can't resist playing it. Mum doesn't like it though, she thinks there is too much gore.
