Pointless thread alert!

I habitually wear socks a lot. I try consciously to remove them whenever possible, though, because trapped moisture isn't good for the skin. Plus they look aweful in sandals.

Socks Rocks them socks off! I love socks, keeps my feet warm.

I love socks and wear them all the time, but my house's floors are always filthy. My mom yells at me for how dirty the bottoms get.

That last one is dirty. Especially if you wanna think about what most of us were using socks for back in the day. And no, the answer ain't rollin' them down with our Converses to look superfly, alright.

Practicing Roller Blading/Ice Skating (sliding on tiles)
When someone's annoying you, you say "put a sock in it!" (and shoving a sock in their mouth(s))
Sock fights (instead of snowball fights)
Etcetera Etcetera...

I don't get why people do that. Why soil a sock when you have perfectly good disposable toilet paper.

I have a pile of dirty socks and then I have a pile of clean socks. It's quite easy to differentiate between the two.

You just use one sock. It saves you a ton of toilet paper/tissue.
Anyhow, does anybody else detest wearing "dress socks?" Give me white ones anyday. Also, whats better, the ones that only go past the ankles or the longer ones? I prefer the longer ones. And since I don't feel the question merits its own thread: Boxers, briefs, or Commando? I go briefs in the summer and winter, commando in the spring and fall.

I despise briefs. With a passion. Boxers all year round for me.

As for color of socks, I typically prefer black, but now that I wear lighter clothing I wear white socks so it all blends together.

I usualy wear long white socks, because I like that part of my leg covered. I if start wearing those ankle socks it makes me real uncomfortable and makes me want to pull them up all the time.

Oh, and boxers all year around! Boxers rule XD.

Black, mostly. I have hundreds of black socks, those being my school uniform. Coloured socks scare me, because it's yet another colour to coödinate. White socks are a definite no-no outside of sports. Ugh, so tacky.

Anyway I still have some old grey socks that would be close to - if not over - 10 years old. The look a bit tattered but they are still good. Better than socks now days. I have socks that are only 6 months old that have holes in them.

It's socks in general. Where did you get the bed idea...?
