Yup, shit has hit the fan over here in Holland. There now is a serious political party started by a bunch of pedophiles! Let me sum up their idea's for Dutch law:

- Reduce the legal age to have sex from 16 to 12.
- Make it legal for adults and minors to have sex.
- Make it legal for children from the age of 16 to star in a porn movie.
- Sexual education starts at kindergarten.
- Porn may be shown on TV during the day.
- The legal prostitution age will be 16.
- It will be legal to walk naked everywhere.
- Make it legal to posses child pornography. Trading and proffiting will still be illegal.

'Having your children introduced to sex is a vital part of their education,' the party's spokesman says.

On the other side, I do support a lot of their other idea's they have. But just because of their other crazy ideas, I'l gladly shoot them.

That's awful! Somehow I don't think 12 year olds are mentally ready to be legally allowed to have sex and I think adults and minors having sex is just plain wrong.

These paedophilic politicians just want to make whatever they do legal, which is absurd.

If these laws get passed (likely not, although I don't know what the general Dutch consensus is), then The Netherlands will become the international hotspot for sexual child exploitation.

It's just so wrong.

Seriously though, do they really think anyone's going to vote for them? And if they do get elected, I'd be very worried. But how serious a party are they? Because over here there's an actual party called the "More Beer Party", who's agenda is to replace all government spending with purchases of beer.

But perhaps you could clarify one thing for me; I was told once that you could buy porn from the age of 13, that sex-ed is well-taught at a young age and that it's not socially unacceptable for teenagers to have sex. This, I was told, leads to the Netherlands having the lowest rate of sexual-abuse and violent crime in the world. True or False?

As far as I know they concider themselfs a serious party. They even have a website with stuff and party plan on it. I think they are pretty serious about it. We had a few stupid ones as well this year, also including beer and hookers :P.

Legaly, you can not buy any kind of porn when you're 13. But if you're lucky the clerk doesn't give a shit and sells it to you anyway.

Sex-ED well taught... hm well it's not a school subject and I learned everything I know pretty much by myself. Never had it in a class or something like that.

Teenagers (by which I presume you mean people above 14-15ish) having sex is not frowned upon, no reason why it should either. The legal age for sex currently is 16, so yea.
However, according to the news and stuff, there are also plenty of 12-13 year olds having sex and even participating in rape parties or whatever. While ago I even heard something about a 9 year old raping some todler O.o.

Lowest sexual abuse and violent crime rate? I doubt that a lot. If it's low here, I'd be terrified to see what high looks like.

Sorry to nitpick (and it wouldn't affect my thoughts on the matter), I just don't fully understand this. If the age of consent was reduced to 12, then the minors concerned in the second point would be under the age of 12, correct?

I agree with that. I mean, everyone is entitled to put forward their point in this day and age, whether or not it is agreed or disagreed with.

Very true, I can't disagree with that. It's just the whole political party system that gets me down. Citizens can't voice their opinions so much as they can vote for the party they have the least qualms with.

According to my beliefs, these people are starting to head along the right lines by questioning the status quo and thinking along a different line. They might be barking up the wrong tree, but no political party with any serious desire to get into power would do that, so we're all quite stuck in a rut.

Max, I agree that there is a to big taboo on sexuality these days. And that it should become more of a subject to discuss. There is a lot people should be more open minded about, but having sex with young children is not one of them. Look at it this way: Any living thing that is not biologicaly ready for sexual intercourse, should not be having any. That's how nature determained it, you can't realy get passed that.

Agreed to a certain point. I nearly got jail some time ago for just kissing a girl that was 14 (I was 17 at the time). If she hadn't denied I did I would've got jail, which is unfair because: a. I didn't know how old she was but she looked old enough. b. I was drunk. c. she approached me. d. she's a cock hungry little skank.

But come on even though she's 3 years younger does that really make her a minor? Yet I got charged with the same assault a 40 year old would have if he rooted a 10 year old. They need to fix that shit.

Don't see why not. Society is so bound by age. According to the law 18 makes you an adult therefore anything below is illegal to do anything. By 16 a girl should be pretty well developed, what makes her differnt to an 18 year old?

Even if all their intentions are completely innocent which I slightly doubt, I think it's better to let kids figure this shit out naturally. Sex Education was the most boring crap I went through and taught me nothing. Oh yeh but they mentioned something called 'puberty'. What exactly are these so called 'pubes' and how do I go about acquiring them? Anyone?

Dude, a 16 year old girl is not smart enough to look after herself yet. At least, not the average 16 year old we have around here. Most of them are the party going, drinking till you drop and smoking because it's cool kind of morons. Staring in a porn movie? Might be cool at the time, might make some good money, but you'll regret it 10 years later. Just like when smoking looked cool and now you're stuck with it.

Those last two years to 18 usualy make a big diffrence, don't underestimate that. That legal thing is there for a reason.

I think 16 year olds, hell even younger, have a fairly good grasp on life. Perhaps even more so than an adult. You're young, live it like you should. Have fun. If that means having sex, and even lots of it, so what?

Oh I don't think the age limit should be reduced. It's a barrier that prevents a lot more 'bad' stuff from occuring. But I'd expect and hope that most teenagers break the rule.

To anyone in Britain, did you see that show called 'Let's Talk About Sex' or something like that hosted by Davina McCall a while ago?

Apparently, the majority of teenage girls don't use condoms and most believe that it's not possible to get pregnant during their first time having sex, and that's why Britain has the highest rate of teenage pregnancy in Western Europe.

I'm sorry, but I don't think underage people are mentally or educationally ready to have sex. A world education survey found that sex education isn't amply taught as per the same show.

That's the fault of the country's educational system then. Over here the majority of teenagers have a firm grasp of sex in their early teens. Even my younger brother of 12 years old knows more than I would have expected. From my experience, even the younger females so often referred to as 'skanks' where they are 'gagging for cock' are well informed and know they can get pregnant. Even the younger guys I know, carry condoms.

Perhaps this notion in other countries where sex is bad, and shouldn't occur until you're far older or married is working against them. Sure the notion is prevalent here as well. But I can't honestly say I see many people of influence, including teachers and parents forbidding it and not properly educating their children.

That's not a very good analogy (Fax, where are you?!). A gun can kill someone, and guns are not freely available to teenagers. The fact is, we're all born with the equipment needed to have sex.

Most females are educated enough to know that they'll become pregnant if they have unprotected sex. I believe when you are capable of grasping that very real fact, the issue of age shouldn't matter. All this crap about being to young to understand, is just that, crap. I hate to bring it up again, but I had sex at a rather young age, and it hasn't turned me into a monster, or someone with severe traumatic episodes. I knew what I was doing, and I knew all the consequences.

Perhaps people shouldn't attack what they haven't experienced. Because most of what is being said is simply an opinion based on no facts.

The issue of teen pregnancy, and under-age sex are different issues. One stems from being poorly educated, and the other is just a supposedly good way of preventing teen pregnancy. Yet everyone is not blind. You can't enforce such a stupid law. But you CAN educate people.

I think Peter, when people talk about being too young, they mean not physically developed enough. As in, girls being hurt due the vagina not being ready for sexual activity due to size/whatever. :p

But you do have to add reckless hormones into the equation.

For example, I probably did... a few things... when I was 16 or 17 that potentially could have ended bad. Of course I knew the consequences, but hormones were in a tizzy, and they overrode common sense. Point being, you can know that there could be consequences but still be caught up in the moment, especially at a younger age.

Just saying. I'm not rebutting your argument or anything. I don't really have strong opinion on what you guys are talking about. At least not right now. It's early. :p

Alcar- You have completely confused the point of the law. Shit, you've confused the law. It is not illegal for two 13 year olds to have sex. It isn't illegal for a 15 and 13 year old to have sex. It IS illegal for a 30 year old and a 15 year old to have sex. Now, I get it. You're a young guy and you feel like you're just the shit. You think that you have more than enough understanding of what life is to make decisions like that on your own. The fact that you think that proves that you have a lot of growing up left to do.

Over here in Britain it IS illegal for a two underage people to have sex. The older one involved is labelled a 'rapist' and if both the boy and girl are the same age, the male is usually labelled the 'rapist.'

And that right there is the point I tried to make a few points back. When you're 14 you think you know everything. When you're 16 you think you're king of the world. While you're not.

Sure, if two 13 year olds want to have sex, be my guest. But you're not gonna tell me that those two kids are having sex because they love each other so much. When you're 13, you hardly have a clue what sex is all about, let alone understand half of it.
