Sligstorm
Who here has played Sligstorm? I've been trying to buy it but I'm having a really hard time finding it. I played it over at my friends house once and I really like ii.

Then it wasn't SligStorm. Only the concept of the game was announced, but they never even got through to starting with it.

SligStorm was a game that was suppose to side with AE. The game itself was intended to be the length of Slig Barracks, in AE. For some reason, the people didn't like it, and for all eternity, was cancled. Or shelfed. Just some feedback on the game.
If your friend really has the game, rob him or her, and make copies of the game. Then of course, give it back. If it really was a video, well doggonit there goes our dreams. |
I'll have to call him up and ask him about it. I guess I could have been wrong, though. I don't really like going over his house anymore though cause everytime I do he wants to play drinking games. With just the two of us. I mean, he's a really sweet guy but I just don't think of him that way. Know what I mean?

This idea is understandble, but I have never experienced that kind of relationship. But I know it must be hard to be friends with someone who likes you in a different way.
Anyway, it must be trailer. No history of SligStorm demos or games have been written. |

it may be renamed Slig's Oddysee:)if it's true then i must say i heard about oddworld fan who created simple oddworld game on his own...maybe now it has expansion - Sligstorm?;)....though i don't recall name of this guy...need to look in my archives!

and I doubt they would rename it Slig's oddysee, we didn't had Mudonkon's Oddysee or Gabbit's Oddysee |

And if i do?))...we (fans) know a lot of things about Oddworld Universe, there are many talented coders, musicians, painters, scriptors (etc) among us, so we have to try to carry on OWI while they course is not games but movies...it's a simple thing, we already have fanart and fanfiction on forums, why don't just add CG and script? genre? everything we want - from quest to strategy (maybe chess-sim)...:)

More likely they were started and never finished. Personally, I've got about five games/programs in various states of completion in my 'Programming' folder ATM.

Anyway, fan games may actually get somewhere sometimes. I remember an old fourm I went to, actually had a demo of a game and another had a progress in completeion. I don't know if he finished it, but to keep a project to keep being in progress, you need positions. Like, have one to do the mangment, another to make the programming, another to design what the game will look like. We could pull something off if we tried. |

That's weird, I do that too sometimes. Like when I refer to the forum in a company of people who aren't part of the forum I speak of "The Guys". I dunno. I guess there's this weird association of Oddworld that does it. If this were...well, I dunno, the Barbie(retarded thing) fan forum, then you'd obviously associate every account with being female (Well, usually, that's the way it turns out). But who says women can't make it big in the fan world of OWI? I mean, look at Abe Babe for example. |
actually Oddworld is a big hit by woman gamers, that's why we do have much more female fans than other videogames such as... (I dunno)... lets say Halo.

Often, also, I feel that peoples avatars so something about them, so c*ap avatars don't make me feel that the person isn't all that great. Grammar too. Sometimes, the avatar makes me think about gender. I guess from their personality and name, mostly. I mean, when not looking at the gender sign, there isn't always one one some forums. |
That's because women don't see much sense in games like Halo. I mean, what's so special about it? Just a whole bunch of guys running around shooting each other...
