I joined because my best friends at the time loved Oddworld and had joined here. [Not only my friends, my brother, his best friend and some of his friends.] I really didn't have any clue about Oddworld and only started playing it after I joined here.

I'm glad I did though.

On a serious note, I joined because I like Oddworld and its background.

For a second I thought Fuzzleman was going to apoloigize for lying to about his 'heart transplant', but no, I guess not.

I joined originally to find answers to some of my oddworld questions. Then I stayed just to talk in OT, there was near nill activity in GD at the time. However, there has been a lot more activity in GD over the past year or so, so now I post there a lot.

I can't remember why I joined. It was probably because of Oddworld but I can't remember :).

I joined because I was very lonely.

I joined because I wanted to make a fan story and since there isn't much Oddworld fan fiction on Fan Fiction Net I desided to come here.

I also wanted to talk about Oddworld and such but it seems the General Forum is deader then dead....

Then I realized I liked your off-topic area and wanted to actually talk with the people here instead of just reading.

AE, loved it. I think my fist ever google search was 'Oddworld Abe' and I found a link to Oddworld.au.com.

Basically I wanted to find out more about Oddworld and see if there were any other nutters out there like me. A while later I finished reading the fanfiction on that site and found a link to Fan Corner, joined a VEEERRRRYYY long time afterwards so i could post some fanfiction and about 4 months later discovered there was something here that wasn't fancorner (that's absolutely true, I never went anywhere but fancorner for ages).

Well , I joined because none of my mates knew about Oddworld , whenever I brought it up in a conversation , they were like " huh? " . So I googled oddworld and up came the forums , now I can chat with my fellow oddworld chums!

I joined because I love Oddworld beyond belief, BUT I was introduced to the Forums by Old And Not So Tasty. We were each bidding on... I think it was an Abe's Oddysee notebook pad, and after the auction, we had contacted. He could obviously tell that I was an addict, and told me about this place.

Anyways, i joined... 3 years ago cos i was a n00b and I didnt know how to spell or how to surf the net before. But three years ago I decided it was time to buy AE because denmark are a bunch of wussies and they don't sell the game. So I searched the whole net bought it off Amazon and then I found the forums, and the official site which made me happy because then I knew i wasn't the only OW fan on earth. Well besides me and my friend, but he's lost interest in ow a looong time ago.
Then i joined the owf forums and lived happily ever after.

I joined because of oddworld of course. I was recently getting to replay stranger again (Although AE is my fav) and wanted to learn more about western mudos. So I went to oddworld.com. Saw the link to this place. And realised how I would get 10% on an oddworld quiz if there was ever an official one V_V.
