Not me. I might not get it till next year. (I'm aiming for the revolution. Sue me.). How is it?

I'm hoping, for Christmas.

I'll probably wait till next year to get the 360. About the revolution I talked to a guy at gamestop they said they are going to take preorders as soon as january.:)

Oh the 360 is so nice, It has those awesome controllers and the great shape and graphics. Oh how I love the 360, man its great! they come with so many pieces and Xbox live and everything you could think of. They are great! But I dont have one.

I'll be having one friday next week. Yay! I pre-ordered it :D.

I'd like to have it. But I think the console war is getting a bit out of hand, and I don't feel like spending hundreds of euros on a console, thats going to be replaced again in less then a year. Buying consoles is starting to be a waste of time and money. Cuz you buy one for a few specific games. Then a new one comes out with even cooler games and you have to get rid of your old one.

I think I might just look for a used one on e-bay or something, or get one that fell of a truck. Cuz I'm no longer gonna pay a shitload of money for stuff like this.

Which is why I want the revolution. It's gonna only be like 200$ or something.

I think that there is a good possibility that the 360 will fail. I'm going to wait about a year and see how it's doing then.

I'm jealous. Why couldn't the lil' bastards come down to DC? I could've gotten one...But yeah. You see the line-up of the games? Madden, they say, had to be the most dissappointing of the entire line-up. And so would my brother. He loves madden, like no other guy that's ga-ga over football. But the ones that caught my fancy was Condemned and Perfect Dark Zero. Those two looked only interestin' ter me. What 'bout everyone else? Waht games from the line-up you guys wanna get?

I wanna get full auto. That game looks kickass.

Yer know, I'd be very happy to have an X-Box, man I wanna play Stranger's Wrath so bad! And I agree with Havoc's entire post. Don't you wish for the days where the consumers came first and all the games people weren't just trying to out do each other? *sigh*

Yeah. I ain't surprised that Halo and Halo 2 is on the 360, 'cause it's what people play. But Stranger's Wrath and Munch's Oddysee, NOT on the 360? It makes me angry :fuzmad: Hopefully, one day, they'll format it to let the Oddworld games be formattable on the 360. We ALL hope, don' we?

I've pre-ordered one but apparently I'd one of the 'unlucky few' to have to wait until the second shipping which will probably be after the winter holiday we like to call Christmas.

Oye, that sucks. I just hope I'm on the first Dutch shipping. Then I get the remote!

Ordered mine from Amazon. Coming in time for Christmas.

From what I've heard, there have been some defects. Overheating, games crashing within 5 minutes... bad stuff. I may wait till those porblems get fixed.

Gosh, same as me. I preodered from GAME a few days after the first allocation cut off date. Hopefully, I'll get the console before the end of the year.

There's only one game I intend to purchase for the console, and that's coming out for PC, so I don't think that's justification for $700.

I'll probably be coaxed into buying one anyway...

The 360 is a console, so no. The only console I can put up with is the Xbox, and even that gets boring after a while.

if you buy i now youd spent millions on games controls and extra stuff, then the next xbox will come out and well just chuck the 360 on the shelve with all that money wasted

Never buy a new console straight away. I remember when I bought a PS2 in the first few weeks of its release, paid £300 and I was only 10 or something :/

Needless to say, I'll be giving my money to Sony for a new console. PS3 and MGS4 FTW! :)

EDIT: Oh and I hate sony for all the attention it's getting. I mean really. In my neighborhood if you don't have a ps2 (I don't) or won't get a ps3 people will call you gay. I'm serious. They come in your house. They don't see a ps3 they will be all like "OMGZOERS!! YouU Nat Hev TEh Ps2!!111! Joo ArE all of teh Gazzorz and shtuff!" If you have a GAMECUBE well let's just say it will not be pretty. I wish sony computer entertainment would burn to the ground. I hate Ken Kutaragie.

Also playstations are genuinely crap. Need for speed is good for about half an hour, after that, what's the point? What major titles does PS have going for it that make it work buying over other consoles?

If you've got a good enough PC you might as well just play PC games. Keyboard and mouse controls are much easier to use anyway.

Call me 'gay', (yes, yes, homosexualness, ahuh) but I quite liked the PS1. Quite a lot. Skullmonkeys, Oddworld, there was a lot of good shit going on about it. But PS2 wasn't nearly as good, the games weren't as good. Well, most. Ico and several others were good.

But saying a console is stupid because of it's games is like saying an instrument is stupid because you don't like a song played on it.

Actually Super Munch I do have a playstation. Now that was a condole there. Alas sony sincerely screwed up the PS2. Also yes I have played it and...Well it just doesen't match the PS1 IMHO.

Well, if you can't get one now, start saving so you can afford the next cooler console in the next four years. Anway, fuck the 360, loks like a sex toy anyhow :P. I would be happy with a regular Xbox at the moment. Meh, I will proably just get some games for my cube this Christmas. Does anyone know when the revolution is supposed to come out?

Revolution is somewhere about next year during the spring I think...
