Christmas Cards
 

I'm wondering if OI are going to be sending out a Christmas card this year? Any thoughts?

I didn't get my christmas card from Alf last year for some odd reason :(, well I got nothing from oddworld and I've been registerd for years. They probably sent it to my old address, if thats true then that means the people might be woundering why they keep receiving free oddworld gifts, but I think that's unlikely.

Well I don't think they will send anything this year.
I even doubt we'll get a mail this year.

But I hope they will, I realy hope.

Unfortunately, I agree. I don't think there will be any cards sent out this year.

Every year OI sends out a Christmas card with beautifull artwork from their upcoming project to fan club members.

If you're a member of the fan club (see official web-site), OWI would send you a Christmas Card signed by Alf every year. Because Alf seems to be gone (sob!) this thread is speculation on whether any will be sent.

Okay let me try to post it as good as possible. It's when one person posts something before another person like a second before. Therefore the person who posted first beat the other person who posted into talking about a certaion subject. There hop that clears things up.

btw did anyone els here get some cool munches oddysee stickers a cople of years ago from alf?

they made munch's oddysee stickers? man!

They made them for GDC (I think) and had some left over, cluttering the store cupboard so they sent them out to a select few. Mine are decorating my PC.

and I had the impression they were made especially for the fan club.
they are preciously somewhere in my room

Feh, I never got a card. Even if I joined the fanclub 3 times...

The letter they came with said that they were found when they were cleaning out their storeroom along with a teapot and some very old candy.

Yep, I got them and I also have three of the Christmas cards.
To answer your question, cullen heath, the stickers have Abe, Munch, fuzzles, logos and etc.

I have been a member of the Fan Club since it started, and I have only ever recieved one Christmas card from them. I think maybe they send it to people who live closer to them, depending on their budget that year.

They send a card to everybody when they send one
wouldn't be fair otherwise.

I simply can't imagine the huge impact a card would have this year
I mean it would be an awesome clue about their next project.

I signed up about 3-4 years back for the fanclub, but alas, I have recieved nothing. Perhaps they don't send to NZ mabye?

If they had a card this year, it would be quite an occasion. Though I don't see it happening, it would be nice. :/

Well, I live in the U.S. and they never sent me a damn thing. I just think they had really bad book keeping for their fan club.

They've always sent to me in Australia.

You should check whether you are really in the fan list, or if your details are correct.

I entered them in on three seperate occasions. I'm not the only one who hasn't received their shit.

Yeah. I just won the most recent card on ebay recently. I should have gotten it for free, though. (grumble,grumble)

Only memorabilia I have is an AE cap and one of those super rare Abe statues. None of you are getting either, so nyeh nyeh.

Like NSOAT, I signed up on three occasions, all with correct information. One a long time ago, and two last year methinks.

I so wouldn't buy a Christmas card off of eBay. That's like buying a second hand Hallowe'en pumpkin, is just wasn't intended for you. I'm just odd. (<-- NO FREAKING PUN)
