Howdy.

Just wondering is anyone on these forums is into any kind of narcotic or alcohol or anything (sans Dino and Super Munch, I know you fellas are ;)).

I just ask because recently I got a kick-ass pipe (pictured below) and I have been smoking pot a lot more often. I find it an incredibly fun, relaxing, and theraputic drug. The best times of my life have been experinced while on pot.

Alcohol is another issue, but it's not something I like to do to often. The taste and side effects (constant pissing, hangovers) are not my cup o' tea. Plus, intense usage of such makes for an angry and diseased person.

Anyway, this thread is basically discussion of any drugs you want to or have done, along with anything else drug-realted you want to talk about (positive/negative side-effects, types of high, fun times resulting from drugs, etc.). Do enjoy, and may this thread be as fruitful and spam-free as my furry genetalia. Thank ye.

Well, actually, i don't. But it seemed fitting for what you said.

Erm, i've smoked weed, which is vile. Done alcohol, which i don't mind. I don't need it to have a good time, but i'll drink it anybread. I've also done caffeine, which i am addicted to.

I'd probably do quite a few drugs, just for the experience, but the chance has never arose. Which is quite good, really, 'cos experiencing new things is one of my vices.

Drugs really haven't ever interested me, especially the kind that must be smoked, because the idea of inhaling smoke kinda irks me a bit.

As for drinking, I don't, but I've enjoyed the taste of red wine from a very early age, probably because I was Catholic.

No drugs for Ambi as I've never really been interested either although some of my friends have tried convincing me with their interesting tales of experiences from being high, I've heard way too many people say they regret ever getting into it. My biggest reason for never trying something is that I'm afraid of doing something completely idiotic while high that I would regret for the rest of my life.

Alcoholism runs in my family, so I'll be avoiding that too. Mmyep.

please note I haven't used any of those pipes for smoking (so parents can't smell anything on them, its just a collection, the ones I use for...tobacco are somewhere else)

oh and the images are really bad because I took them with my cellphone using night vision mode and the main light in my room burned out just a few minutes ago

anyway the pictures include my two pipe/tobacco holding thingamajiggers (one has pipe tobacco in it), some kind of large wooden pipe (cant remember which country I got it from), 7 normal pipes, a corncob one, a nice tiny bong, a spoon, and a hookah. On the second picture you see a bubbler, a sherlock, a cool brazillian pipe, some of my lighters, 3 cigars (one is a real cuban, whoo), and little glass tube thats supposedly a crack pipe (99 cents at my local gas station!)

Out of curiosity, how expensive is that collection?

Also out of curiosity, what are those bags in the second picture for? You can't be using those for weed, unless you are a marvelously gigantic pothead. Or a dealer. Whichever comes first.

Yeah, that's the reason most of my non-smoking friends have.

The truth is, you can pretty much tell when you're about to do something stupid. For example, you probably wouldn't run into a heavy-traffic street because your friend dared you (unless you're the kind of person who would do that anyway). It's a much safer drug than, say, alcohol, which usually makes a person rowdy and rambunctious.

But yeah, if you have no interest, then there's no reason for you to try it.

hmm.. yeah I really hate alcohol, I'm a real lightweight when it comes to keeping hard drinks down

oh and its just a corncob pipe, one of the normal pipes is mostly meecherschaumb (or however the hell you spell it) though

Fabulous collection. Bongs and Bubblers have always been my favorite. :D Cigars are nice once in a monkey, but not so often. Actually, I have a fairly embarassing story about cigars, which I will not reveal under any circumstances.

Well, I smoke cigarettes occasionally and have alcohol...but that's pretty much it. The first time I tried weed, I had this awful headache for two days, so I never tried it again and never want to.

Caffeine and alcohol are the only two I've used. :P Mind you, I am legally entitled to handle cannabis, cocaine and heroin. I signed to accept a delivery of cocaine off a Securicor driver the other day - it was surreal.

Signing for a Securicor delivery of cocaine seems impossible. Are you sure it wasn't talcum powder?

Drugs. I haven't tried any. The main reason is my best friend, she gets high alot and is addicted to quite a few drugs, so she'd kill me if I even tryed because she doesn't want me to go through what she does. But it's all the other stuff.

Like, the one time I did try drugs I would be caught by police or do something utterly stupid.

Alcohol, I have tried a few times. And I'm a light weight, the times I did try it I ended up being a total twat.

I like caffine. Yes, indeed I do.

Admittedly, I smoke cigs although I'm cutting down as much as I can atm. Weed is a Friday night/ weekend hobbie as getting wrecked in school is no fun...trust me ;)

As for alcohol, I like my lager... :D I had a bad experience with cider when I was younger, I drank 3 litres of the stuff, got thrown out of a pub and couldn't find out how to get my bus home (13 miles away) :p

Kimon, you mention side affects from alcohol. I have to admit weed does aswell depending on what type, resin gives me a really bad headache, there's been nights where I've thought I was going to die when trying to get to sleep.

I work in a hospital pharmacy. ;) We use cocaine to make anaesthetising eye-drops for the opthalmic theatre down the corridor from us, and I think a paste for some skin procedures. It's probably the only medicinal use of the drug in the entire UK - so don't worry, we're legal. ;) Just about. (Diamorphine/heroin we use in syringe drivers for terminally ill patients etc, and the cannabis is in a MS clinical trial. Whee!)

Heh. Slowly, I seem to be growing a tolerance to caffeine. Coffee and energy supplements have less effect on me now than they used to, probably because I drink them so much.

Obviously, I'm only talking about caffeine in drinks and whatnot... not pills or anything like that. :p

Caffeine has never had much of an effect on me, it doesn't matter how much I have (in drinks and whatnot) I still feel as tired as I always do.
It's more or less the same with alcohol. I have to drink a lot for it to have any affect on me.

Yeah, that can happen with alcohol. Weed too. But as long as you don't have anyone who isn't high around (as far as friends go), you probably won't feel like a jerk, and you'll have a fantabulous time. :)

That's my usual attitude, but recently that's changed. I've smoked 5 days straight for the past 5 days. Unhealthy, I say. I shall avoid it for a while now.

EDIT: The above was a lie. I'm smoking again tonight with my friend. Damn. 6 days in a row. And I still have half a bag left. That's bad, even by stoner standards. But whatever. Should prove to be a good evening.

Oh, and last night was shitty. My one friend refused to smoke, which resulted in a hugantic buzzkill. No good.

On the subject of drugs, does anyone know where I can find the video of the British Labour MP Christopher Mayhew taking mescaline? I think it was from some time in the 1950's or 60's. I've been trying to get hold of this video for ages but I've never been able to find the full version, I've only been able to find a clip of a few seconds.

Anyway, a friend of mine just got a ton of weed (obviously not literally) and I've been trying to convince her not to smoke it all on her own and to get together so we can both smoke it. So far my efforts have been useless :D.

I don't smoke weed as much as I used to. I find it a little boring now actually, cause it's always the same experience. Of course you get some weed that's a head high, some weed that's a couchlock/body high. But really it's all the same feeling, you feel wasted, happier, and relaxed.

I used to take it a lot to calm my hyperness but that seems to be getting better now. Although alarmingly I'm losing weight now that I don't get the munchies so often. I blame my weight loss problems on the price of sandwiches at my college.

Oh, and I don't have -any- glass, none whatsoever. No bongs, pipes, vapes, chillums, or any other smoking parafinalia other than ashtrays and various funky coloured papers. I've also got this neat zippo and a lighter shaped like a sparkplug, but I don't use the latter because it drinks fuel like a hobo.

The only halucenagen I've tried is Morninglory seeds, which must be taken with pot to work correctly. They were rather fun. I was in a forest, which changed to a jungle in Vietnam, and then the Flintstones world at night. :D

You dont NEED weed for morning glory, it works quite well by itself but weed probably enhances it. Oh the time I tried morning glory was crazy, it owned my stomach and both me and my friend vomited repeatedly. Then he started hallucinating and babbling about reality and perception for a few hours. At some point we did smoke some weed though...

Anyway, salvia is definetly the craziest hallucinogen I've tried...and the only one I've gotten any hallucinations from. It's still legal so go buy some and enjoy (with a sitter)

Gasp, you haven't heard of salvia? I bought a gram of 20x extract this summer and smoked it with the same friend I ate the morning glory with. (bad grammar ftw) We tried it like 4 times each over 2 days, still have some left over, the stuff is extremely potent, just a few sprinkles of the powdered leaf catapults you into outerspace.

You feel a strong feeling of gravity or something pulling you, and this weird presence comes and talks to you. I remember being pulled onto a weird miniature railroad with some goddess.. and she was telling me that I wasn't ready to see the "truth" and I would have to wait and smoke more in the future. The train traveled across the inside of a giant green fish, which was the entire universe and made out of huge puzzle pieces...so yeah crazy stuff.

If you do get around to trying it, make sure youre in a dark quiet place with a friend as a sitter. You forget where you are and what you're doing, so make sure your friend takes the bowl from you after the second hit. I remember being so confused when he took it from my hand, I couldn't understand what he was doing and why he was taking it, I got so angry for a few seconds for no reason at all. It was pretty funny when I came back about 5 min later.

Came back 5 minutes later? Are you saying that's how long the high lasts?!?!? Because one of the websites I visited said it varied from 3 minutes to 40. And so being high for 3 minutes would blow rock candy.

Anyway, I heard the stuff was hella-expensive, almost 60 bucks for a "container". Is that about true-ish? Cuz there's no way I'm gonna spend 60 bucks for a 3-minute high.
