Chippunk
My Brutha, Wata ya do'n, My Brutha,
Thought you might like to see the Chippunk I am working on. I have a sound chip with the CP sound bites that I am going to mount in the base. http://home.entouch.net/pzak/Chippunk3.JPG http://home.entouch.net/pzak/Chippunk2.JPG http://home.entouch.net/pzak/Chippunk1.JPG What do you think? Mike |
Hey that's good! Say how much would it be...?
|
I am not sure if I will make copies. It's just a personal project right now.
|
well if you make and sell more than two types I will be out of money, I am not complaining, I think you should make asmeny as you want I would love to buy as many diforent ones as you make. no presure thow...
|
That's really awesome, my man.
You really captured the eyes and the mouth. Great expression. |
yes he did. by the way sea rex, I love hellsing anime! *Rocks*
|
Mmm, nice Crossbow, feel comfy.
Great detail, and the sound Idea, cool. |
You should've worked at OWI, cause that's lovely!
|
great it looks cool ,
i wasnt able to buy a munch statue bechause i was low on money... i hope you make models of this one... |
:
what is the stuff you are using plus how do you shape it so stuningly? |
I think he's using resin.
|
Web, Sea-Rex, Fuzzel, Sarah, Tim and Angel - Thank you for your kind comments. :)
Angel - I am not sure if sculpting in clay will help you in the game industry but it is nice to have something you can touch. I use a polymer clay called Super Sculpy. It is like a plastic clay that you can bake in an oven at about 250 degrees F and then it turns rock hard. You should be able to find it in the local craft stores. As far as shaping it, I use my hand mostly to get the general form. Then I have some dental and wax tools to do refining. |
That is FANTASTIC Pzak! I will buy one if your selling.
|
Pzak, book me on one if you make copies.
|
Hahaha hey thats great work dude! Keep it up :D
|
Jesus, Pzak! Is there anything you can't do?!
I'd have to say that I like this one...erm, equally as much as the Munches. Will you be adding fake fur to it or just leave it as is? Will it be paintable? |
Wow, thats amazing Pzak.
When/If it's painted I'm sure it'd have a life like look to it :) |
you are my god
|
That does look jsut fantastic. Stunning work you've done here, Pzak.
|
That's insanely good! The detail on the fur is amazing. I would really love to see you do a fuzzle.
|
TheLonelySteef, Havoc, Shinjara, Abeguy, Esus - Thank you.
Dipstikk - Thanks, and yeah, I can't draw like you. I used to sketch as a kid but I can hardly do a stick figure now. I was going to put fur on him but I couldn't find any at the local fabric store that I liked. But I did find some fur for the next one. WineDarkSea - Thanks. It's funny you should ask that. ;) http://home.entouch.net/pzak/hf.jpg Mike |
Woahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! All of your sculps are amazing if your selling the fuzzle and the chipunk I'll have one of each as long as there not to much. You should make all of the live ammo and it would be awsome if you made a grubb statue that would be awsome!!Please say that you are selling them please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Oh my GOD!!!! AWSOME MODELS Pzak - I like this! Please, make copies of Fuzzle or Chippunk! I will buy it!!!!!!
|
I cannot believe you packed so much character into such a simple model, that fuzzle looks terrific!
|
That's an Awesome fuzzle model! You...are the king of Oddworld models.
|
Are these finished products?
The lack of pupils makes them look extremely scary and cool. Shibby stuff. Love the detail. You have a gift for making teeth. |
I don't think they're quite finished. The finished versions should have pupils, possibly fabric and color. Am I right, Pzak?
Oh, and you are really freakin' amazing. Do you any sculptures outside of oddworld stuff? (I'm assuming you do) |
A Fuzzle! Pzak you just made my day!
|
Fuzzles rock. Many Oddworld creatures seem to have the capacity to be ridiculously cute and hideously ugly and a little bit scary at the same time. Pzak does a good job of capturing this tripartite nature.
|
FUZZLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg i want one! and the chippunk ROCKS!!! your really good at that stuff!:D
|
Thanks guys.
TheRaisin - finished is a reletive thing. The Chippunk sculpt is done (I may redo the ears) but I still have not figured out what to do with the Fuzzle. They both still need to be painted but I have not even started painting Munch yet. Not enough time in the day. Kimon - Thanks and yes, all the sculpts I have done to date, with the exception of the three I have posted, are non-oddworld. Unfortunately, my pic hosting site has shut down, so I cannot direct you to see any right now. |
Pzak.....you're really talented. I love both Chippunk and Fuzzle. If my sculpture teacher would see those, she would probably die from a heart attack at seeing something so amazing :D
|
Whoa, those are great! You've captured the model very well.
|
That finished Fuzzle will look Fantastic... Fuzzles (Sits and drools and picture)
|
Good... God. The Munch was awesome, then you surprised us by a Chippunk, and now, Fuzzley dude. That is really good work. Keep it up, and by this time in, uh, 10 years or so, we'll have a full set! :p
Keep up the good work, it is great to see the progress. :) |
Thudslug Me! Anyway yes i like these as much as your Munch, i look forward to seeing future models, possible a thudslug that is not rolled up into a ball?
|
Aww, the fuzzle has so cute expression on his face. You are really talented.
When did you first start doing sculptures? |
:
Oh, and Pzak, I hope your site comes up again. I'd like to see your other stuff. |
Well not really, the Slugs both riot and thud, look like Slater insects, and insects somehow do support massive weights with tiny legs. I would just like to see a crawling Riotslug for some reason.
|
Awesome stuff. Extreme talent you have there. You matched the chippunk and fuzzle so well, if I didn't know any better I'd think they were official OWI sculpts!
Good Jay-Oh-Bee! -oddguy |
