Endings
How many endings did YOU reach:
1. AO: bad ending 2. AO: good ending 3. AO: bonus for saving 4. AO: bonus for killing 5. AE: bad ending 6. AE: good ending 7. AE: bonus for saving 8. AE: bonus for killing I reach them all 8! |
I've only reached the good endings for both Oddysee and Exoddus so far because I have only played each game once.
The bonus for killing endings are only supposed to be rumors! If you did get these endings how many Mudokons did you have to kill before getting them, as it is certainly impossible to kill all Mudokons as you need some to open doors, etc. Abe Babe... |
I HAVEN'T TRIED KNOCKING OUT ALL THE MUDOKONS BUT WHEN I FEEL LIKE AN EXPERIMENT. I QUICKSAVE, HAVE MY FUN AND KILL MYSELF.

The exact number isn't important, you have to kill as much as possible. If you must save them: do it! If you need Shrykull Power: try saving them anyway (that's possible!) If you can't kill them: Leave them! I killed +/- 86 in AO and +/- 274 in AE and got both bonusses!

Well oddipus, the reason nobody believes you is because it is a general belief that there are no bonuses for killing all possible mudokons. Have you got any evidence besides your word? What kind of bonus do you receive? What happens exactly? Perhaps you are mistaken about whether it's a bonus or not.
Back onto the subject, I've only got Abe's Oddysee and I've received both the Bad Ending and the Good Ending + Bonus for saving all 99 mudokons. |

AO - bonus ending (i think, dont remember) AE - good ending AE - bonus ending I have seen the bad endings for both, only i used the 'view movies' cheat. hehe (and that was the ONLY cheat i used) |

its hard for me to say which is better.i played ae first but got ao after it (on psx of course)and i thought they both kicked butt. ao was pretty original but ae had some features that i liked. although it goes without saying that ao was truly ahead of its time!! :)

ive beaten both and gotten the good and bad endings, but never the bonus'.....can someone divulge this info?

There are bonuses for saving all mudokons in both games. 99 in AO, and 300 in AE. Oddipus says there are bonuses for killing as many muds possible but I very much doubt it.

My jaws must be on my toes right now!!!!!!! Am I really the only one who reached the bonusses????? The bonus for saving them all is not so cool (pictures, FMV's), but the bonus for killing: MAJOR FUN !!!!!

There is a endding if you kill as many as posible... Ive got it... It was not very inpressive... Itis just a short note from OWI... If you want to know what it says kill as many Mudukons as you can. ;)

i havn't tried but both those passwords can be accsessed through ACTION REPLAY or GAMESHARK. And AR or GS doesn't change the game but uses other things in the game and mixes them up so the code can be carried out. I dont know the actual codes but i know there is "abe infinity rocks" and "bullet proof." But it is not in the brewery, though its the AR/GS that is changing the code to make it go throughout. ODDIPUS, when you throw a rock or something, does the indicator of how many rocks you have say infinity? |

Hmmm... as stated earlier I had always thought that the killing bonus was something of a rumor. You are actually the first person Oddipus to lay this to rest.
I had always thought that if the bonus existed it would just be some kind of screen of possibly FMV. I'm assuming then that the "bonus" you get of course comes into play before the game finishes and while there are still Mudokons remaining. I'm too much of a Mudokon lover to ever try to kill as many as possible... but it's an interesting thing to know. Funny that OWI actually award you game wise if you kill as much as possible. OWI are crazy in their heads. If not they hadn´t made OW. But what could they mean with this? I have no idea. it´s surly a joke. I have to thing about that

As I'm not a suspicious person I find this somewhat difficult, but Oddipus, could you maybe post a screenshot or possibly a savegame that proves this? Not that I don't believe you, it's just that all we have is your word. I know that most of the people posting here are just curious about the possibility of another ending, but the tone of dialogue in this post has become somewhat acrimonious. Could we put this one to rest, Oddipus? Please either post something or drop it.
