Konnichi Wa

Hi2u.

I have no interest in Oddworld whatsoever, and have no idea what I'm doing here. I like music.

Oddish 02-17-2005 02:42 PM

Why are you logged on this forum anyway?

Welcome Dino. I like music too.

Cyber-Slig 02-17-2005 02:50 PM

You use good punctuation. I like you already.

Welcome Dino. I like music too.

I'm logged on here because I signed on, and I signed on because I wanted to be logged on, and I wanted to be logged on because I wanted to post, and I wanted to post because this seems like a nice forum.

That's the jist of it at least. :P

Always good to meet a fellow music liker.

SeaRex 02-17-2005 06:17 PM

Welcome new person.

Always nice to get a new member who can string together a coherent sentence.

AquaticAmbi 02-17-2005 06:31 PM

Yay! I'm not the only person here without the slightest interest in Oddworld game stuffs. These forums are great even without such an interest.

Much welcomeness to you, sir. :)

Phat_man 02-17-2005 08:04 PM

You are probably the strangest person I've seen on these forums, but for some reason I like you already.

Leto 02-17-2005 08:56 PM

Yes, Tom. If I am assuming you are Tom. If not, you'll think I'm a weirdo right about now. Welcome, and thank G to the O to the D you don't use internet abbreviations. For that- I shall love you like a shrub, or something along those lines.

Yeth. :lick: Welcome. :p

My name isn't Tom, and yes I do think that you're a weirdo, but not because you called me Tom.

EDIT: Oh yes, and thanks everyone else for being nice enough to say hi. :)

Rich 02-18-2005 12:22 PM

Bonjour. Please, don't turn out to be an idiot.

You're new and apparently intelligent.

That's great.

Leto 02-18-2005 06:41 PM

Godlesswanderer 02-18-2005 07:50 PM

Hey Dino, welcome to the forums. It seems like everyone likes you so far and you've only been here for two days! It looks like you're off to a good start :D.

Phat_man 02-18-2005 09:32 PM

Once again there is just something that draws me toward you, but I can't put my finger on it. I'M GOING TO GO CRAZY!!!!!!!!

Dino 02-19-2005 01:48 AM

Heh, yay!

Nice to meet you all.

EDIT: Sorry Super Munch, having trouble figuring it out here. :p What is it that I have to do to get it to work?

Rich 02-19-2005 01:28 PM

"EDIT: Sorry Super Munch, having trouble figuring it out here. What is it that I have to do to get it to work?"

Go to your settings and set Private Messges to on, I think.

I am Billy Cripner, one of the oldest ACTIVE posters and guess what?
I like music too!:|
Don't know much peeps who don't.
If you have no interest in OW, stick to the Off Topic Discussion and don't wander far from there cause thats one of 4 off topic topics including W and B's, Forum help, and off topic Art and Lit.
Enjoy anyway

thatbluebastard 02-20-2005 05:27 PM

what kind of music are you into?

and i also just joined last night, so hey.

Gravity 02-20-2005 05:34 PM

Hello Dino. I'm new too. I jus disappear from time to time because I'm in college.

Billy Cripner 02-22-2005 05:36 PM

You kid, in college.

COLLEGE SUCKS!

Agent-Sarah 02-22-2005 05:45 PM

Thank god I'm not at collage. I don't want to spend the next four years doing really hard high school-like paper work.

yeah, wouldn't want to have a career or anything...

Disgruntled Intern 02-22-2005 09:31 PM

I'd say you're more the 'collage' type, personally.

I mean, attaching a bunch of small pictures onto a large piece of paper seems a bit more suited for a person of your obvious mental capacities.

i was going to hit that route, but let the typo slide.

i see you are not so forgiving.

relentlessness is a good virtue.

Grunge, I so love grunge right now... (Silverchair, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains) I look like the type to listen to emo, but I never do. Also I'm really liking Slipknot and Korn at the moment. They're totally oversold but their stuff sounds good, heh. :p

TheRaisin 03-05-2005 09:49 AM

You like grunge? Yo, my bruthah! *respek knuckles* Grunge kicks ass.

Hmm. Looks like I'm a little late. Oh well.

Yes, very good to see someone who's both intelligent AND not unintelligent coming to the forums. If you have those two traits you'll do well.

Are you part of the "Nirvana were overrated" club?

nirvana was overrated and not overrated at the same time.

i think they were misinterpreted, because they weren't 'grunge'[although that's what came from all this].

nirvana was self-described as punk rock.

Rich 03-05-2005 12:23 PM

Nirvana had punk and indie moments. Only bleach could be considered grunge. And it's manky grunge at that.

Heart shaped box is pure grunge - compare it to anything from Soundgarden and you'll see what I mean.

Rich 03-05-2005 12:57 PM

Ok. In Utero had it's grungy moments. ;)

TheRaisin 03-06-2005 04:36 PM

Nirvana was awesome. I don't care what genre they are. They transcended genre lables. Wadatah.
