I have a quick Q... how do I choose what my little subtitle is? I've seen people with 2 stars known as either Mudoken Scrubs or Slig Poppers along with some others... how do I choose which one I want to be or is it random? Thanks a bunch. :)

There are many ranks per # of stars for 1 star there is stuff like gabbiwog and slig slacker, it's not random, one is just higher rank than the other

As a side note, Kimon, we will be changing the current ranks very soon, in order to bring the Oddworld Forums in line with the release of Stranger's Wrath :) So I'd ask everyone to say their goodbyes sometime soon.

Wait...are we replacing all the existing titles? I thought we'd just add the new ones.

There are far too many titles to just add more. As it is, the list of possible titles we could use is greater than the amount of titles we currently have.

It is the fourth of March. However, the new Stranger stuff will not necessarily be released on that exact date, though it may be nice. We aren't putting an exact date for fear of falling short, and becoming the latest targets of tomatoe throwing ;)

I have, all the colours are done, as well as formatting. But the images are yet to be done - I've got to get in contact with Abe Babe to snatch the vBulletin Graphics Development Kit before I can start on the buttons / icons / etc.

I'll post a preview for members to give me their feedback, as I seem to have the knack of choosing the worst colours in the world. What appears good on my screen is not often what happens on others' :p

Hey all, Alcar just showed me the new design and it's looking pretty cool. I'm sure you'll all enjoy it!

I'd just like to say that I've been finding the current ones fairly amusing, especially the way they are all ordered into their respective positions on the food-chain. But some of them are really in the wrong order... I know I have absolutely no interest in Oddworld whatsoever, but I have played all the games and know roughly where some of them should be on the rank table.

I understand, Dino. I wasn't actually around when the current titles were implemented (yes, they've been standard for THAT long), but I think the general idea was that some 'special' ranks, which might seem out of place, where put in the order they are in because they may hold more of a 'plot' based side in the games rather than their place on the food chain.

I do agree, though, as a rank structure would seem to imply that you'd get better as you earned more posts. Hopefully the new rank structure will fufill that.

You don't request a title... It is given to you. Be patient, and someday it might happen to people such as yourself...

Sorry for the delay in the style. And I bring more bad news, which I'm sure you can already guess. I am completely swamped with School work. This time, being in the wee-early hours of the morning, is the first chance I've had to get on the computer for days. And it is all my own fault. It's all study, and I choose to do it, but never the less, it must be done.

I can't promise anything. As this weekend I'll be away, the following weekend I'll be spending with my friends, trying to desperately soak up as many hours as I can with them. And in between, I'll be diligently studying once again. I am sorry, and I do apoligise. I've got so many things to do, and each one presents itself as having more importance than the others :p Confusion abundant!

I shall try to get it finished bit by insy-weeny-little bit :p

Hey, I have an idea. Why don't we get all the artists on this forum together and try to make a template of our own? Would that work, cuz if it wouild, it would be sweet!

Indeed. Alcar has given me a custom title. But I can't think of anything to put in it so I haven't got it yet. :p

Problem with that is that we generally don't want to use member stuff because of copyright issues. I think the only case so far where we have used member stuff are the current smilies - which were created by Codek. Seeing as he was later banned, it can mean a lot of problems in the future. Even more so with a group of members.
