MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf. For the online, obviously. Stiletto is the most awesome light mech ever. Plus... it's named Stilletto! AWESOME!!!

That new Conker game. I love online shooters with different classes, so I should love this. Screw single player. It probably sucks.

Theif Deadly Shadow but I just picked that game up. Well the other theif games when they come out, MechAssault 2 also (thanks for reminding me), oh and many many more, mostly stress reliever games or precise tatics style games like theif

AVP: Extinction looks awesome but I've read some bad reviews about it. San Andreas might be the last GTA, because in the very first one there were 3 cities; Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas. So maybe the next one might be GTA 4.

When the PS3 comes out, if they make another Getaway game, I'll get that. I doubt they will as the only person who likes the game is me.
I think that if they took their time on making the storyline detailed and making the map of London way bigger (including tube stations) then it would kick ass.

For those of you who want to buy MGS3, one of the best games I've ever played.

I saw a picture of the first idea for the ps3 and it looked like a toaster, because you put the disk into the top like you would with a toaster. I'll try to find a picture

Well f*ck buggery! I guess that woman that came into the video store where I work was just retarded.

This woman from England (I know not just because she had the accent, but later on she explained to our manager that she was, indeed, from England) came in one day and asked to "hire" a movie. The manager, not sure of what she was asking, politely asked her to repeat what she said. Eventually he got the gist of what she was saying (apparently, her accent was very thick and not exactly intelligible to 'Merkan ears) and said "Oh! You mean rent a movie!" Well, she got a little indignant, apparently, and fumed "Yes I mean 'rent' a movie! I guess that's what you call it!"

So I just assumed the general term was "hire" instead of "rent." True story. Or so my manager says. That's what I get for making an assumption based on a story, I suppose.

Oh, and I would love to have Metal Gear Solid 3. I love that franchise. Not the most "stealthy" game out there, but it's got some great arcade action. Messed up plot, too. Gotta love that.

Actually it's both, "over night rental" on the movies or "Video hire" are examples of this. It just depends on who the person is I guess. I've used both terms when down at the local Block buster store/shop. It's wierd that we have Block Buster in England as no-one ever uses the American term "Blocks".

Lol, Cockney rhyming slang, Geordie talk, Manchester "mad fer it!" speech, Somerset accents and the silly put on "posh" accents. Sometimes I can't understand people of my country either.

A definite buy in the future: The follow up to San Andreas. I can't wait to see how the developers will match it or beat it.

Same thing, sounds nicer. And it avoids admitting that they made a mistake by spending millions of dollars on a game that will never see the light of day.

Jak 3, (I already have Ratchet and Clank: UYA-It rocks!! :)) And Jak 3 looks better than Jak 2 ) Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath (naturally :p), Halo 2, (yes, I don't have it yet. But I plan on getting it eventually.) Metal Gear Solid 3 sounds pretty cool and Psychonauts looks awesome!! :)

I want to play the new Oddworld games, but I don't have an X-Box and I'm not about to buy a whole console just for one game. How come they can't release Oddworld on the PC, anyway?
Most X-Box games are on the PC (I mean, it's essentailly a PC that thinks it's a console. It even sounds like a damn PC.), so there wouldn't be much point in me buying one.

Other then them, I dunno what else I'd want, apart from the few HL2 modifications and additions that are in production. I'll see what appears on the horizon. Maybe the new Wolfenstien game when it comes out, or the next in the Jedi Knights series (if they'll be one), or the next Worms game. I wanna see what the next Unreal game will be, too. And apparently they're making a new Carmageddon game.

BTW: As a 3D shooter, Doom III isn't that good, because games aren't fun when you can't see anything half the time. The only thing that made it fun to play was the "ductape" mod on the PC version, which attached the flashlight to most of the guns. The X-Box version won't have that. :P Have fun crawling around in the dark, people. :P Contrary to belief, it doesn't ruin the gameplay or atmosphere. Even with the flashlight attached to most of my guns, I still felt very edgy and uncomfortable :P So there you go.

I'm disappointed by it, this game is quite boring, not enough action, I prefer having fun with Flat Out or Mashed.

PS : I bought the XBOX just for Munch's Oddysee ^^ (then I had DOA3 and other musts).

I only say hire, but 'rent' is used here as well. But not really in the phrase 'I am going to rent a video'. More used in the word 'rental'.

I can't wait until MGS3 gets converted to PAL. So I can play it on my shiny new PS2!

And Worms 3D was utter shite compared to the earlier games in the series.
