YIIHAAW!! Christmas presents! ^_^

Soo... I know it's a bit early celebrating Chritmas the 24th of December. But that's the tradition in Denmark.

So, what did you get????

I got clothes, earings and stuff like that. I also got one computer-game called Sacred(In style with Diablo 2, but cooler :p)

But then they also did a very evil thing to me... Well, in all this i thought that The Oddworld-book didn't come or something... But my parents have been hiding it from me :fuzmad:, until now....! LOL! I'm dso happy to have it in my hands ^_^!!!!!!!!!!

sligster 12-24-2004 11:49 AM

I also celebrate christmas early in my family. I have yet to open my presents, though...

Fez 12-24-2004 11:53 AM

Its not xmas in the UK yet, I shall wait......

Cyber-Slig 12-24-2004 12:01 PM

Guess I won't be sleeping tonight . Which is I why I have made a plan . You see 2 days ago I got an American KOTOR which my sister's boyfriends who is a computer nerd basically reformatted it . So I'll go to sleep (pretend to) , wake up sooner and blast some twi'leks . Then at 6 I open my friends . Be ****ing shattered and then go to sleep .

Alcar 12-26-2004 03:04 AM

I didn't ask for anything this Christmas, as was the same for my Birthday, so I didn't receive too much. But I'm extremely happy with what I did get :)
  • iPod (I had to contribute $250, but JESUS was it worth it! Although my computer is so slow it takes forever for iTunes to finish converting a CD)
  • Photo Album (Complete with photos from our recent transatlantic train trip across Australia, I think this was one of the best presents, it was so thoughtful, and I'm so very sentimental)
  • Amelie DVD (Finally! My sister went and got it for me, after complaining for a year that I've not yet to have seen it :p)
  • A Novel (Forget the name, but it's written by an Australian, and it a limited edition version, so I shall be happy to read it)
  • Nail Clipper (Don't ask! It was a joke!)
  • Chocolate (It doesn't get any better!)
  • Lollies (Tonnes of LOLLIES! I'm in heaven!)
  • The Art of Oddworld (I was allowed to open it early though)

It comes with the original theatrical version and Director's Cut (only 15 extra minutes...) in Wide and Full screen on two discs.

You don't get much more, but the presentation is nice.

TheRaisin 12-28-2004 10:16 PM

It's all about the presentation. I haven't even looked at the extra stuff the Halo 2 Collector's Edition has. I've just been drooling over the aluminum case. Gwwwaaahhh...

..Yeah, I'm pretty god damned spoiled.

TheRaisin 12-29-2004 09:59 PM

Y'know what's sick? This was one of my least spoiled years. My dad goes into a frenzy around birthdays and Christmas. He has some kind of deep-seated fear that he never gives us enough presents, so he gives us too many instead.

This year I set him all wonky though. I barely asked for anything. Any time he suggested something I was like "I neither need nor want that." So he got me fewer things this year and the things he did get were awesome gifts. Also,
A. No one was hospitalized this year at Xmas,
B. Everyone was present (plus one, my brother's girlfriend has basically become part of the family),
C. No one had a meltdown. No one. It was frigging amazing.
D. We all got along, and
E. People got what they wanted. There was an absolute minimum of bitching.

Rocking Xmas. It's over now. Dammit. It's been over for days. Xmas break ends in four days and fifty-five minutes. Some people get depressed at the holidays. I get depressed after them.

EDIT: Sorry, just had to add something really funny. I've recently developed an increased sensitivity to light whilst I sleep, hence last night I took some antihistamine pills to help me sleep in lieu of a sleep mask, one of which I have yet to find at local retail outlets. Just now I took another two tablets. Upon swallowing them I realized I'd taken a sip of Cherry Coke to wash them down. Hmm. Benadryl to help me sleep, washed down with Coca Cola. Laugh my freaking ass off.

Oddly Insane 01-01-2005 05:22 PM

OOOOHHHH........I'm telling....lol....kidding.... but that would be cool using that to kill zombies

Godlesswanderer 01-01-2005 05:26 PM

I don't like those lightguns, mostly they're bad quality and you can't aim properly. If people want to play an arcade game with an arcadse style lightgun, I don't see why they can't just go to an actual arcade.
