Ah sheesh, you are right: the link in my signature does still lead to the old URL. I remember I had changed it, though, so what more than likely happened is that I exceeded the maxinum number of characters in my sig, and it wouldn't change. Many thanks for pointing it out, though, I'll see if it'll alter now. ;)
In the ad, notice that the armoured character doesn't seem to be one of the four species/breeds represented on the GDC Outlaw cards, but a fifth type, like the one Esus posted in another topic. |
Breed eh? this could be interesing, and confonfusing. I thought about diffrent breeds on oddworld, it could acually be true. Remember OWI said there will be more Outlaw cards coming soon.

You're right, Esus. I spotted it a second ago thanks to oddguy; I'm correcting it right now, should Blogger ever choose to respond. In the meantime, you can see the larger scan here.
The forbidden pic... I guess it doesn't matter, as we have a picture of superior quality now which has been posted in the public domain. I suggest not posting the ‘original‘ just in case. |

the hick talk is a bit annoying, but I think it doesn't realy matter, OWI is just having some fun :p

Blogger has actually died on me, lol. If anyone asks you about the broken link, I'm sure you can direct them to the right place until Google fix up their service (apparently Blogger's been failing quite a bit recently). I'll try again later.
Oh yeah, and you'll probably notice OddBlog…s missing its background and the URL all look horrible and underlined. This is what happens when you fiddle about with CSS and stylesheets with little time to correct your mistakes. It doesn't affect our news-reporting, though, so stay tuned. ;) |

Sorry if this was mentioned somewhere else already (I try to avoid the spoilers forum), but is that supposed to be a different breed of slog with horns and a hoop through its back (presumably for a leash?) in the front?
Also, the art department cheated a bit by having some of the clusters of enemies repeat themselves in the front line :D |

I must commend EA for doing something about the dismal effort they've had recently in relation to promoting Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. Not only that, but this advertisement looks bloody stuning! The colours, the way everything blends, etc, etc, etc, t'is brilliant! I didn't even mind the hick talk, I was too busy looking at the purdy pictures.

I'm so happy I'm an Oddworld fan. Every time such a wonderfull picture or movie is released, I'm drooling over my keyboard. (Makes it a little sticky and dirty but that's a problem I gladly take)

if you look in the middle you can see it,
try finding the dark strip in the middle i belive that is the page change. otherwise this is the original picture... and right under it says : Git on over ta eagames.com. Yer hunt begins January 26th ps : sorry if this was already noticed or known:) |
