*fanishes*

Yeah, I'm fanishing to the Australian country side for a little over a week. It's my annual Cadet camp, so I'll be getting dirty and having loads of fun! So yeah. I thought I'd let you know, seeing as this is a week and all. Hopefully nothing major happens, in regards to Oddworld and the forums.

Have fun! :D

Alcar...

Dave 07-02-2004 02:31 AM

Oh, don't worry, Sir, I'll make sure something absolutely dreadful happens while you're away. :D

Seriously, though, have fun! I'll miss ya!

Hobo 07-02-2004 10:35 PM

Lucipher 07-02-2004 11:35 PM

Yes! With Alcar gone I can now reign chaos over these forums without my diabolical schemes being thwarted by the one the gods call peter, the cursed savior of light. I will...(Cough)...........YEAH!

Mac the Janitor 07-03-2004 04:51 PM

How do you "fanish"? Is it one of your damn hippie dances?:p

I kid, I kid. Have fun my boy.

oddguy 07-03-2004 05:35 PM

PARTAY!

Fez 07-04-2004 06:03 AM

lets have a party now that he's gone, what do ya think lads?

Al the Vykker 07-04-2004 07:32 AM

Farewell for now.

Oddish 07-04-2004 07:36 AM

Bye Alcar.

Yay partey!

Fez 07-04-2004 08:18 AM

Am I the only person who can spell party?

Facsimile 07-05-2004 05:21 PM

"Partay" I believe was spelt intentionally I believe because that's how you can pronounce the word. "Partey" was just Oddish's intellect.

Sekto Springs 07-05-2004 05:25 PM

Yes let's party before he returns and sets fire to our dreams and aspirations.

oddguy 07-05-2004 08:29 PM

Ooooh, Party!

I'll supply the cheese and strippers! :p

:spam:

Sekto Springs 07-05-2004 08:31 PM

I'll provide the door sign that says "no Alcars allowed".

Lucipher 07-08-2004 09:57 AM

I think that when Alcar returns we should all duct tape him to a rock on the beach when the tide comes in.

Facsimile 07-09-2004 12:38 AM

Oooh, kinky.

Hobo 07-09-2004 05:10 AM

Together I will form the most delicious thing known to man. A Nacho Woman.

With all the charms and sex appeal of Keira Knightly and the cheesyness of ... cheese.

Alcar 07-10-2004 03:59 AM

Alcar has returned. Yes, Mac, I realised upon looking at the thread title not only two minutes ago that I spelt vanish wrong, numerous times. Max says it's the Bsmodjrf, that is making me illiterate. I believe it's Josh. Anyway, yes, we were meant to have showers, but, being in the elitest battalion of the entire camp, the males toughed it out without one shower. Naturally, I smell, and my feet could choke a chicken.

Other than that, I was the only one to score 100 out of 100 in the live fire range shoot. By that, I mean firing a weapon (not simulated) onto a target some far distance away. Considering I hate shooting games, I think I put every dunce there to shame :D

Alcar...

What gun were you firing? How far was your target? Were you standing, lying down, or did you have a support for your gun? 100 out of 100 what? Bullseyes? Cola cans? Watermelons?

For all we know, you could've been lying down, with a scoped rifle on a bipod, shooting targets 50m away, with a gun that has a maximum accurate range of 1000m.

Fez 07-10-2004 06:04 AM

He probably shot 100 targets, and hit them. I'm guessing as he's Aussi, he used the AUG, or a good ole .303, but chambered for .22.

I did actually start to type up something about a .22 air rifle shot in a standing posture, but thought it too much of a generalisation.

I was considering buying a .22 air rifle the other day. I found a really nice one, a scope-rifle combo, good quality, light weight. I don't know if I would be allowed to shoot my intended seagull targets however. I'm pretty sure they're vermin, but it's tempting fate without making sure.

Hobo 07-10-2004 10:05 AM

Ugh Gun Nuts. Too damn scary for my likings.

Anyway. Peter. Now you have returned, I expect you to provide all the services that you did before;)

Codek 07-10-2004 10:08 AM

Damnit hobo why don't you just kiss his ass while you're at it?

Hobo 07-10-2004 10:09 AM

No.

That's Max's Job...

Codek 07-10-2004 10:12 AM

I think your return key might be teh fux0r.

Must be bad karma from using Max as a scapegoat. ;)

Wil 07-10-2004 11:32 AM

*returns to Forums too late to say goodbye to someone and enjoy the party, once again*

Bah.

Welcome home.

*goes away himself*

Alcar 07-11-2004 03:07 PM

The rifle I used, was the standard Australian Army AUSSTYR F88. I remember someone saying something about .303, so perhaps it was that... Other than that, I ain't got a clue about guns :p We shot the rifle in the unsupported lying down method. The target was 100 metres away. You had to hit in the bullseye region (which was tiny) twenty times in a row. Each hit in the center being worth 5, thus my perfect score of 100.

Now I return here to Max leaving for Holland, and Nathan leaving to New Zealand! I'll have to arrange something with some other people. Withdrawl is too much to handle :p

Alcar...

AUSTEYR F88, 5.56mm calibre ammunition or .22 inch bore, 508mm barrel. Uses AP rounds to an effective lethal range of 500 yards. Can achieve the full automatic firing of up to 10 magazines of rounds without jamming.

Not a bad weapon.

How do you guys remember this stuff?

Welcome back Alcar... yes I did actually say that... I'm pleased the uber conservative ass kicker is back... I for one deserve a spanking!

*CB bends over in anticipation of Peter's spanking*

Nah, I don't know why I did that though. Must be the results of tiredness.

Well you see Claire, men have this strange, exotic organ we like to call the brain. Women don't have one, as they demonstrate on a daily basis, by not exhibiting behaviour consistant with actions related to, or affected by, this particular body part.

Common examples of such behaviour and actions are; Parking, holding a sensible conversation, making a good joke, having a hobby, cooking food properly, remembering relevant and useful factual information, and operating a computer without making it crash. ;)

So it has nothing to do with the fact you have nothing what so ever to think about other than your own hobbies and interests? :p

Oh... you learn something every day!

And for the "joke" I have a laugh somewhere but I appear to have misplaced it... I will find it eventually... ;) :D
