WOW!!! Great work Abe Babe!! This is great!!!! I love the tech look it has :D... Though I think you should replace the oddworld icons with something els, or at least give em a diffrent color. They look kinda out a place on the main page...
|
Ohhh! This is so cool!
I like the diferent blues... Hey! A person's gender is listed now! That'll make everything easier! :p |
It looks a treat :) You already know how I feel about it, but I should be kind and express my extreme pleasure here as well! :D
Alcar... |

Marvelous Abe Babe! Good grief... its scary now knowing that some of you "girls" are actually "guys" .... I'm joking!!!!! |
Well, I'm out of ways to say "Great jeorb."
So, great jeorb, Abe Babe. :) |
wundervoll! Luv ya Kristen! :D
|
I like it. Good job. *thumbs up*
|
I don't like the line of buttons under the OWF logo. They seem to continue in a pointless line across the slig's feet.
Besides that, it looks great. |
Looks fine to me Searex. What resolution are you using?
|
I love every aspect of it. Just amazing. It's even better that the first Industrial skin. You've outdone yourself Abe Babe. ;)

Odd job! |
Fantastic.......I don't have MO so i'm always gonna use this one...........until a AO one is made!
|
Yeah... a wildlife skin... That would be good... but I waiting for the Native...
|
I still plan on doing a native skin, but it will be a more graphical skin like the industrial skin, as opposed to the basic skin it used to be. However, I have no idea as to when this will be, as I am planning to work on content updates for Oddworld-Web next as the site has fallen behind sites like Oddworld Universe and Depths of Oddworld.
Once I make a decision to make the Native skin however, I can guarantee you it won't take as long as this one has, as all of the template modifications [which is what takes the longest] are now done, so it will basically be making new graphics and colors and it should pretty much work from there. Probalby I'll get struck by an instant streak of inspiration one day and surprise you all. ;) Abe Babe... |

Yes, just update the character/location pages and such with all the new Stranger info.
|
Great work, love the effect :D
|
Now, this is one cool skin!
I did notice that, while loading, the "feet" of the slig at the top of the screen are not aligned while useing FireFox. Only when all button images are loaded does the end of the image line up with the slig. It's only a minor fact, but if you're going for prefection (on FireFox), you might want to address it. Thank you for the slick skin. Go raibh mÃ*le maith agat ^.^ |
Oh wow this skin is just incredible!!!! :) I love it! Great work Abe Babe!!!!! :) :) Now I am VERY excited for the Native skin!
|
The messed up buttons were only on Safari (mac). I tried it on Internet Explorer and it looks just fine.
So huzzah. |
Well, that's okay ... well and kind of not. I mean it's good to see that no IE browsers are affected, but it's bad to see that it's messed on a particular browser. But as I don't have access to a Mac of any kind, I won't be able to test it. I don't know what would be causing it though, as it's just a HTML table with images. Weird.

actually i don't like the industrial style.
but this is just great. well done, Abe Babe. :) .:VaniLLaKiLLah:. |
It's very slight.
It's probably because Mozilla FireFox (the newer version.. I think) tries to load the images page first, then images. It leaves image spaces the size of the-little-white-box-signifying-no-image I don't think I'll keep the industrial theme, since there's too many images for my Dial-Up connection. I rather the quiker loading (but simplistic) skins. Next year on broadband! |
I checked with my older Mozilla at work, and it seemed okay ... I might upgrade just to see what is happening. I'm more interested than anything else. I don't know why browsers need to treat things differently. Even with XHMTL and CSS, there are still things that one browser will handle differently to another. It would be good if things were standard.
Yeah, I can see what you mean, that's why it's good that Sydney allowed us to use her skins, as it means users have a choice whether to use a basic skin or a more graphical orientated skin. But I did notice that vBulletin does seem to reload all of the images when you go to a new page [sometimes, not all of the time] ... unless it is a setting with my brower, but I don't notice it happening with a webpage. For example, if I go to one of Oddworld-Web's pages, it will only load the layout the first time, then it just loads the content. Which is much more efficient and faster. Abe Babe... |
Maybe they use frames, but that won't work with a forum.
As for the diversity of Browsers, I think it's all healthy! (Although I do hate the CSS colour/format differences between Mozilla and IE. My site can't look good on both!) |
Different browsers are good as it means people can choose to not use Micro$oft's one if they don't want to ... but the fact they all treat some parts of code differently is a pain ... it makes web designing a nightmare at times.
Abe Babe... |
wow you got it Abe Babe!!
A perfect skin becchase a computer with internet is also a bit industrial! Just want to say : A great skin!!! |
When do we see the native one? I'm dying of anticipation.
|
It's probably going to be a while away, as I am working on getting OWW's content up to date first. And next month I have another costume to make for an anime convention which is in August, which will take up a lot of my time.
Abe Babe... |
I have Mozilla Firefox, and quite a few of the images seem to be out of place :/
Here is what it looks like... |
Hmmm, it's almost like there is an extra image in there. I might need to upgrade to that browser or install it here on this PC. But it certainly is looking weird to me.
Abe Babe... |
*points*
Yeah, that's what it does on my Mac... that line thing under the slig's feet. However, the weird placement of the names (on the side of the post going vertically) went away after I posted something. Every time I sign in (which isn't a problem considering I'm almost always signed in) the names and avatars are on the side, but when I post something, they move to the top and stay there. Not as big a problem as the lines under the slig, though. |
Probably Peter can answer that second problem better than I can. It sounds like something to do with the vBulletin option that allows users to have either a vertical or horizontal postbit. Does it do something similar in the other two styles or just industrial? If it's just industrial, maybe I've missed something somewhere along the lines.
