Could there be a vykker queen?

Well we know almost every thing on Oddworld has a queen (hence the words almost everything) I was thinking what would a Vykker queen look like? Not saying they have one. But just a thouhgt. :D :D

Shrykullmaster 01-05-2002 11:46 PM

that would be ugly! i can just picture it, somethin with a a huge head, maybe a worm like body

Danny 01-06-2002 12:19 AM

Vykkers are fertile Hermaphrodites, so No.

Al the Vykker 01-06-2002 12:34 AM

Hmn..... It is hard to belive that I do not know if my species hasna queen ironic on my part.....

Xavier 01-06-2002 05:38 AM

I read somewhere tha Vykkersautoreproduce tehmself. SO NE QUEEN
Paramiteabe stop to allways find a queen to each Oddworld speicie

paramiteabe 01-06-2002 01:07 PM

Hey, I am board I don't know what to talk about. I am in a mental block right now, so bare with it! I think pretty much we talked about Munch and everything there has to be about Munch dry. So I am thinking hard of something new to talk about. So sorry about the queen thing! :(

SeaRex 01-06-2002 01:13 PM

Yes, for the love of odd, no more queens! Skillya and Margret are enough...

•[cyrus]• 01-06-2002 01:17 PM

Why does there always have to be a queen? What if they're was a speices that reproduced with "Orgins" that could reproduce?

Hey cool idea, reproducing A sexually like what Micro orginisims do. Whats throw awey the queen idea and bring in the new ideas. I bet Vykkers could reproduce A- sexually. Now would that be odd or what? I can see a Vykker splitting apart like a flat worm woh cool! Thanks guys for reminding me about how the queen idea is getting pretty dull. I think I am getting out of my mental block I have been in right now. Thanks again from Paramiteabe. Heres something to think about what if Vykkers were to reproduced artificially like in the movie the Matrics. And there is a higher intellengence then the Vykkers at work that we don't know about. And the Vykkers are just there tool in studying natural life forms. Bio engineering! ;)

•[cyrus]• 01-06-2002 01:40 PM

hmmmmmm..............you are a disturbed person Arn't you ? J/K and I was talking about Scrabs.......

Xavier: I said that just two posts above yours...

Paramiteabe: They don't reproduce like Amoebae, they are Hermaphrodites. We don't know exactly how they breed, whether they simply give birth by Parthenogenesis or whether they mate, and then one or both of them gives birth. I expect we will find out soon, and if we don't then it can't be that important, can it?

Niteowl 01-06-2002 05:00 PM

The Vykkers are into weird science...Maybe they tweaked their life stuff to do away with the need for a specialized queen- also doing away with the vulnerability that some other race might capture the queen...
They may even grow their young in a tank for all we know- cloning themselves.

Phen 01-06-2002 05:09 PM

I wonder if interns have a queen

paramiteabe 01-06-2002 11:01 PM

Um no I don't think so. It was bad enough I drove ya guys crazy about queens now I am trying not to discuss queens for a long time now. other ideas please.

Steve 01-07-2002 12:51 AM

well some species could use budding he he he.

in case you don't know budding is where an organism grows a bulge or something then it pinches off and the bulge becomes another version of the one it budded from.(that would make for an interesting FMV)

oddguy 999 01-07-2002 06:23 AM

Cool... Budding sounds a lot like what those Gremelens did to reproduce in thoses movies Gremelens and Gremelens 2 (spelling?)...
... Exept they didn't make exact copies of them selfs, Just 5 evil children copies at a time... ;)

I think Vykkers would clone each other or something... Sex and birth would just be to natural for them to exept. Although they might enjoy the blood and pain.

Oddsville 01-07-2002 07:08 PM

You guys do know that a Hermaphrodite is a person that has sex with dead bodys, right? I know this is growss but like Rettick said earlier, the Vykkers are a species of Hermaphrodites and we all know that Vykkers are pretty weird speices. Giving to the kinda name they have I don't even wanna think about how they reproduce.

A person who has sex with dead bodies is a Necrofeliac, buddy. At least, I'm pretty sure.

Steve 01-07-2002 07:13 PM

no that is a necropheliac(sp?).

Oddsville 01-07-2002 07:23 PM

Really?, well I coulda swore that it was a hermaprodite. Even my friends mom told me and shes a docter.

Oh, well sorry about that post guys.

•[cyrus]• 01-07-2002 07:24 PM

A hermaphrodite(sorry if i spelled it wrong) is a person who has no Sexual organs. Like abe for instance...A person who has had their sexual organs removed and is niether a male or female.

Mudokon101...

Steve 01-07-2002 07:36 PM

hermaphrodite is an animal with both sexes or something with two very different or opposite elements or qualitys. someone with reproductive organs removed is a unic(spelling and I believe only aplies to males).

MudokonOddball 01-07-2002 07:50 PM

fascinating...

Danny 01-07-2002 09:26 PM

Hermaphrodite: A creature possessing both male and female sexual organs. True Hermaphroditism is rare in Humans. Pseudohermaphroditism, in which a creature possesses sexual organs of one sex and secondary sexual characteristics of the other [e.g. enlarged external genitalia in a woman or breasts in a man], is more common.

Neuter, or Androgyne: A creature possessing neither male nor female sexual organs [therefore incapable of reproduction].

Necrophile, or Necrophiliac: Someone who gains sexual pleasure from corpses.

Clear?

The Magog On The March 01-07-2002 10:20 PM

geuh.. necrophiliac's scare me.. that's even worse then that whole 'furry' thing.

Beg pardon?

The Magog On The March 01-08-2002 11:20 PM

Eugh, you mean you haven't heard of Furry? It's where people dress up in giant costumes (Like school mascot kinda things) and... well, let's just say something that aren't meant to be done while in a big furry suit e_e

Niteowl 01-09-2002 06:31 AM

'Furry' is a very broad term that can include anyone who enjoys fantasizing about being anything other than a human being (includes mythical creatures like dragons, unicorns, gryphons, squid headed gunslingers or blue alien frog/bird guys with feathers sprouting out of their heads...)
Doesn't necessarily involve sex...
