Comic page 1
And now.... the moment you've all been
Ahem: Been WAITING FOR, Mr. Grammorically Incorrect! Anyway, I resized the image so you can see the whole thing. If it don't show, refresh the page. Maybe more than once to be sure. If not, E-mail me. mattnstuff@comcast.net I'll be happy to send you ONE copy. Copyright laws are valid, so no theiving. But don't just E-mail me. At least TRY to refresh your browser. The old one was pretty much turned to rubble, courtesy of this guy named Abe. I guess if the guy hadn’t worked there, he wouldn’t have known about the Glukkon’s plans to raise profits by harvesting him and his Mudokon buddies, turning the lot of ‘em into the next big thing in processed meat 2.So Abe, being the hero he was destined to be, went out on this big, long-winded adventure to save his people. 3.As for Abe’s boss, Molluck the Glukkon, he got what was coming to him. He and his assistant Slig were both zapped unconscious by the Mudokons that Abe had freed and thus disappeared without a trace. Rupture Farms was also partially destroyed in the blast. 4.But in the Industrial world, business must go on. I'm already started on page 2. Update! Page 2 is done! |
Eep! Cant see the picture :( *slinks off to hide under the bed again*
EDIT: Thankies for helpn' me out with that Dipstikk--it looks great :) |
Thank you for posting, NP. At least YOU give a damn about my hard work.
|

|

Poor people. Try now.
Page 2! (Thunder booms) http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0TAC0B...26736551640604 Narritive: 1.Without the tyrannical Molluck present to fill the empty spot at his meat factory, the Glukkons decided it was time things got rolling again. At a part of Rupture Farms yet untouched by the fallout, a Vykker Executor held a meeting to appoint the recipients of the items in Moll’s will. Undoubtedly, the old coot would’ve left the factory to someone. 2.That he did. His one friend out of millions who feared and loathed him, Molluck gave all the rights to his pal, Abiet C. Judd. With a wicked smile, Judd wasted no time to re-open the famous meat-production plant. Read and enjoy. |
This is great, I think you are the first person on these forums to actually make a comic about oddworld. Please continue and keep up your good work!

Aw, Al ya big flatterer, yer making me blush!
You tugged at my heart strings. here's page 3. Narrative: 1. Apparently, when Abe got the hang of the Hero business, the Mudokons got the hint and started helping him in his adventures. I still think that thoes guys just wanted a piece of the publicity. 2. The Glukkons were still using Mudokon slaves, but the constant threats from the infamous terrorist know as “That Abe Guy” had them worried. 3. The Glukkons got wise to what was going on. By the time Abe was 20, he had shut down nearly a dozen facilities that held Mudokons captive. Needless to say, the Glukkons were scared. 4. In a rash decision, The Glukkons held a big meeting in front of what used to be Soulstorm Brewery and ordered all of the remaining slaves to be present. The decision was final. 5. The Mudokons were free after thousands of years of servitude. Mudokon tribes unite with ex-slaves and rejoice. I wuv you guys... |
Not to bother you but I can't see the words There too small and sorry I had to complain.:(
|
You have GOT to be kidding.
THIS IS WHY I WROTE NARRITIVES AFTER EACH PAGE! Read them in the order they appear on the picture. This is the LAST question I'd expected anyone to ask. |

http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0TADKA...27392041011878 TRANSCRIPT OF PAGE 4 Narrative 1: So the Mudokons are free. Whoopdee-freakin’-doo. Where do you think that puts us? This is the only picture I have from when we still lived in the mountains. IN THE WILD. That little girl on the far right: That’s me. I was nine back then. The other three are my dad, Mick; my mom, Clarence; and that little sourpuss is Joe, my brother. Narrative 2: We lived in this beautiful mountain range called the “Nocranzee Canyon”. It’s like this huge canyon and it was all ours. We built our houses into the rock. We didn’t use too much wood, and the housing was comfortable. As far as I can remember, the Noctero lived peacefully. No problems with the Glukkons, no beef with anybody. They didn’t bother us, so we didn’t bother them. Narrative 3: Until the Pods came, that is. |
Lookn' good Dipstikk, this stuff is awsome.
|
Hooray! New pages! Now, to start, I won't do the same old thing as everyone else, you already know you're good at drawing. What I will do, though, is criticize (or however it's spelled.). Don't think I don't like it, I really do.
I like the story so far, but doesn't the Noctero's wings look a bit strange? They would be quite hard to use, if that's what they're there for. The screenshots on page three was original :) What has the slig on page 2 been eating...? But I can only imagine how many different Oddworld comics will follow this one's footsteps... |
Great dipstikk I have a challenge could you make 20 pages!:smokin:
|
Good stuff. I love the sligs. Your style is vaguely reminiscent of something... but I can't remember what.
EDIT: Oh yeah, it reminds me of an Oddworld magazine cover I saw once. |
TWENTY PAGES?! Are you insane?...He would make about 50 maybe more!
|
The audience is hungry for some new work. Anyways so far its great. And I cant wait to see what you have in store for us next!
|
Oooh! Great artwork! More!
|
Florida's going through it's annual rainy season, which means there are lawns to mow. I'm mowing three lawns. It's been chaos.
I'll try to get at least ONE page done on our trip on the boat. I'll see you about it on Tuesday. (I'll still be here tommorow, but then I'll be gone 'till Monday.) |
A little gift for you before we part.
It's the cover art for the comic! http://images.deviantart.com/large/i...Title_Page.gif It might be a little big, but you'll get over it. |
none of your pictures showed up for me, but i did read the narratives, good work!
|
