Summer Holiday. Can I get a "Whoop whoop?"... No really, I'm fresh out of whoop.
 

Huzzah, summer vacation is finally upon us... or most of us, at least.

During the break, I'll be getting a low paying job (whoop?) at Celebration Station (WHOOP!) if my interview goes well. If they don't hire me, I guess I'll just be forced to beg for a less-entertaining job somewhere else. I'll also be going to the beach, where I will again attempt to perfect the touristy art of skimboarding, and again make myself look like an ass.

So... what is everyone doing for the summer?

Summer camp and Boy scout camp

Not the lame ass boy scout camp, but the kind were we burn down pine tree's and prank each other. The kind were people douse a spot in carosine and lighter fluid and set it on fire. THAT kind of boy scout camp. Oh what a joyis life I live.

but, that means poisonball, bombardment, ultimate frisbee, checking out the hot girl counseours with white shirts that are soaked fieldtrips to canobie lake park,rock climbing, LASER QUEST!, and scaming kids out of their Yugi-Oh cards!

Band camp.
Summer camp.
Another band camp.
Go to grandparents house in the last week of June to celebrate 14th birthday.
Spend the rest of July doing jack shit.
At the end of July, theres marching band camp. Hold a marching baritone hurts like hell.
School starts .

My summer sucks.

Yes what a glorious summer it will be...

I'll be delivering pizzas until I get called in for my client interviews as an In Home care..person.

Delivering pizzas will be fun, because I can do that while high. No one will notice a couple slices missing, right?

But I'm really looking forward to doing the in home care. I love helping people, so it will be a fairly enjoyable job.

I was offered a job at hot topic yesterday, but I refused. Not because of the store itself, but because the store is in visalia, and I wasn't looking forward to a half hour commute to work everyday.

I'll also be throwing a few parties over the summer, the biggest being "Dirty Davie's barbeque bash". I know the name is weak, but it's going to be great. Lots of friends, meat, and a keg.

What more could you ask for?

Other than that, I'll be tending to my 'herb garden' [considering I dropped down 60$ on the seeds alone. :S]

Hanging out with friends, and swimming a lot. And spending time with my lovely girlfriend, of course.

WTF dude, your like 10 with an even lower maturity level. How the hell could anybody give you any position of power (even on that meeger of a level)? Pff, hot girls. You haven't even hit puberty yet.

Well if I'm not doing the above discribed things, I'll be hanging out with Justin listening to Led Zepllin and having mad lan partys. Viva La Gamer

I'll be moving to my father's in Buffalo, NY. If all goes to plan I will hopefully get a job aswell. My school has about 18 more days left.

Hello everyone. It is not summer over here, so I will still be studying like I always would be doing. Although we do get a short holiday in July, so that will be good. But I have exams soon. :( I did have a question for Americans and particularly Magic_Abe. I have always wondered why everyone gets sent to camps and that for vacation over there. Because over here I would go on holiday with my family. I do not even think that we have summer camps over here or if we do have them they are not very popular. But I always hear about them on television and wonder about what is good (or maybe bad) about them.

I'll stay at home and turn on the heater:) Its soooooo cold overhere and i nearly catched a cold on my camp. But i like winter anyways:)

Possibly because you went the whole camp naked? :p

And, IT'S NOT SUMMER! IT'S WINTER! Anyway, I'll be on a damn week long NCO's course... Yay... I suppose...

majic, do you KNOW that he hasn't hit puberty yet? because if you haven't been told or anything, it's quite possible he has - i hit it at about 10yrs 6mths

And what were the precise hours and seconds?
Puberty doesn't happen all at once, different bits of it takes different times.

Back to topic, Hahaha stupid Americans and their camps.

It will be winter here next month so nothing different is happening for me. 'Cept my birthday. Even though it's two months away I'm psyched about getting my Learners liscence.

I have been in Summer vacation for two weeks now and so far I am really enjoying it. I do plan on going on some road trips this summer with my buddys but I am also happier than ever, because one I got my report card in the mail the other day, and I passed all my classes which means that come Fall Semester I just have to take all my classes towards my major which is Comercial Art. Thank goodness all my required classes from English and Math are over. I never have to worry about such classes again especially math! And two I got a bran new job thats paying more than ever than my previeous job which was at a Grocery Store.

So I am truely a happy camper! And speaking of Camping I just love those kind of camp outs. A long time ago I was in the Boy Scouts and pretty much we were a bunch Pyros! hehe :lol: Ah yes the memories!:D

It isn't summer holidays in Britain for about 2 months............ Anyway I'm off to AlphaScrab land, Holland.

Wait, southern hemisphere people's seasons are actually swapped? I just assumed that the seasons had oppisite weather patterns than up here. Curse assumptions.

Anyways, camps are too stereotypical and over-emphasized for America. Half my friends aren't doing jack. I'm only going to the band camps so that *naturaly* I can get better, heck, I could try my luck with a music scholarship when I graduate (acedemics suck). Summer camp is something to get me away from home (no chores), keep a semi-regualr sleep schedual going, and to also get some minor physical activity in.

Why would someone go to camp? Its just like school, but with more activities and longer days.

I'm not doing much... Going to the lake every night, perhaps set fire to something, keep drawing stuff, maybe do something with my friends. I have about two weeks left until the summer holiday. Until then, I guess it's just planning to do.
